I'm looking start a topic for all those shortened season growers. This will be the topic to swap plants that grows best in an short, cold, rainy season. I WA

I been on this forum for some time now and I can never seem to find much on my climate, so now its time to make an topic just for it. I dont know if this will take off or if it's just a waste of time. Id understand if many of you was to paranoid to post here.

Please post your pictures here. Help people looking for help, and most definitely tell us the plants that your growing. If you can tell use where you got your seeds from that'd be great too.

I'll post pictures of mine as soon as I can. Im an guerilla grower so I cant just take pictures whenever I want. All my trips in the woods need to count. I'v been growing like this now for about 7-9 years. Its a pain in the ass but its the way its gotta be because of the laws here. This year I'm growing some Lamin from RCMC (Bubble gum X Mighty Durban) and some Lychee Kush from Headstash. The Lychee Kush has just been started because 5/10 Lamin went missing and I'm trying to make up for my lost. But as many of you shortened season growers know this is much to late to start seeds and these plants will be small. But none the less its time to post this.

P.s I know my grammar sucks.
Is the true north and free a bad title? This topic is for all with this type of season.

This your first look at the Lychee Kush

So I pulled this off another topic here and I thought this would be useful here if this takes off.

  3. So how far north do you have to go to be in a short, wet season?

  4. If you think your season is short and wet your welcome.

  10. Yellowknife stand up against the tyranny of the sun and our overnight frosts in early September! ;)

  11. Oregon count? This is the reason for all the greenhouses in my neck of the woods.  Grow season here is short. Gotta have early plants and be prepared for rain when the buds are big.."gotta be tough to live in the Pacific northwest"..Haha!

So im hoping they will revert to veg but I dont know if they will. I dont think they will be a heavy producer. But free is free and I like to prov myself wrong. 1403170480004.jpg

I have pictures of my guerrilla grow. What a trip I had in today. I picked of about 30 wood ticks and the horse flys thought I was a good supper too. But here they are. In the past 2 weeks they doubled their size.
    This is the Lamin

  17. This might be a good year to grow in the pacific northwest. Predictions are for a warmer, dryer summer then normal. My girls are pretty bushy, hopefully not more then 6 ft tall at harvest, and a dry September would be excellent. 2014-06-19 15.45.09.jpg

Wow what nice plants you got there. I love the size of them. Mine is a foot or little more. I hope that mine will grow 3-4 feet. Every year I improve. I wish I went bigger on my hole size. Hopefully the roots will grow into native land and be fine.

When doer your season start? When do you start your?

  19. I started these April 9th. Kept them on a T5 fixture until May 15th then outside full time. I think I lucked out a little, I was keeping my fingers crossed that they wouldn't start blooming. I topped them twice and fimed them once. They have nice pre-flowers and should start blooming by July 15th. I have them in 20 gallon pots. I'd like to do bigger pots, but if I have to move them out of the rain, 20 gallons is plenty big for an old fart to move around. I should be able to harvest them around the first week of October.

  20. Yea they are doing really nice. I wish we had the kind of sun you do. The plants in my picture is big for around here. I started mine the same time as you and had them outside around the same as you. Goes to show you how much the climate makes the difference.
