Stillmatic 700W Led Dwc Auto Grow (Dark Devil Red Devil Using Topledgrowlight)

  1. Kevi what sort of dose do you use for rapid start I am going to go get some tomorrow. Do you use both the liquid and dry koolbloom? Seems like something I might save for my second go around.

  2. With the rapid growth I start at half of 2.5ml/gal. I just got liquid koolbloom. I thought so too until I got either p or k deficiency and a blade told me kb will cure it...got some used it and boom gone lol. Trust me it's a good investment 😁

  3. Alright then, can't argue with that, sounds like you got the full experience.

    DAY 2
Here is a photo update, temp has been between 84f and 86f, I have started to throw a frozen 16floz water bottle into each of the buckets every morning and then switching for a freshly frozen one again before I go to bed. Yes, I named the plants just to differentiate which is.

Some other things: I tried to adjust the pH to ~5.8 but settled between 5.6 and 6.2 for each bucket. My ppm tester has been kind of wonky telling me the ppm is 110..100..130...79...95...125...88... and it never really settles so I have considered getting a new one. Right now my testing procedure is to just dip the ppm tester into the bucket directly but maybe it would get a more stable reading if I took a cup of water from each bucket to test in a more controlled environment vs the bubbling bucket? I'm not sure, input would be greatly appreciated from anyone with experience.

  5. Honestly I'm still just a noob on my 2nd grow lol...but yeah I learned the hard way 😆

  6. I meant as in you had to go through it all, you had to suffer through the common pitfalls but now you can help others and thanks to you maybe I won't have to suffer as well :)

  7. Lol sorry I'm baked. Yeah I hope so too 😁. That's why I do such detailed nightly updates. But sadly no updates until Sunday night 😞

  8. are you taking the reading from the Rez? If so that could be why it is fluctuating. I use a shit glass to take my readings

  9. Yeah I will start doing the reading on a sample from the bucket. I got some stuff from the hydro store since I had a 20 percent off card. 1qt liquid koolbloom 1qt calimagic 1qt aquashield and 125ml rapidstart. Hopefully that will last me for all 3 plants but we'll see. When I get home I am going to add 4ml rapidstart to each bucket (1ml/gal)

  10. Okay I just finished up topping off the buckets, adjusting ph, and adding rapidstart. Each bucket had a ppm of about 195 after adding ~4ml of rapidstart

    DAY 3
    Photo update:

    7/11/14: Temps between 84f and 86f
    martha_jul_11.jpg
This is Martha, she is the smallest of the bunch and I think might be a day behind the other two.
    before: 6.2ph, 205ppm
    after: 5.9ph, no ajdustment

    ruth_jul_11.jpg
This is Ruth she I believe she is doing pretty well.
    before: 6.1ph, 215ppm
    after: 5.9ph, no adjustment

    lucy_jul_11.jpg
And finally, Lucy, who I believe to be doing the best
    before: 6.1ph, 206ppm
    after: 5.9ph, no adjustment

I think I set Martha's seed too deep into the hydrocorn. I think it will work itself out but she might fall behind her sisters.

Leaves look a bit yellow in the middle but I'm not worried yet. I think I poured em up a bit too much this time, should be more careful next time lol.

  14. I put the tip of the meter directly in the res to measure the nutrient strength. I have never had problems. Are you putting it in a stream of bubbles? Is the solution fully mixed?

Here is my friend's plant. It is the same strain as my three dark devils, the main difference is it's being grown outdoors in soil.

Really need that reverse osmosis filter. Should get it by the end of the week (I hope)

  19. How many actual watts does that Mars II pull?

Interested to see how it turns out. Was thinking of adding an led to my grow.. Debating between 3wattsand 5w.
    Goodluxk !

  20. I'm not sure but I have read in other threads they do about half the stated wattage or something like that. I would opt for the 5w because it will give you better penetration. L=I/D^2
