Hey GC! Here is a quick update from the armoire!

I have switched to the 250w HPS with an additional 60w CFL to fill in the dark side of the armoire.
    1406557612555.jpg 1406557621010.jpg

The auto white widow has bounced back nicely after going through the ca-mg deficiency. Since switching to a 600-800ppm Lucas formula solution its has been growing very nicely! The root growth has exploded, the buds are starting to get frosty and smell is starting to increase. 1406557708736.jpg 1406557740143.jpg 1406557749834.jpg 1406557761515.jpg

The auto berry ryder is starting to flower nicely and is turning out to be a hairy girl. She should finish nicely and yield pretty well with all the height I have left to work with. 1406557684213.jpg 1406557692345.jpg 1406557700745.jpg 1406557772844.jpg

  2. lookin great sir :)

  3. Thanks for the compliments and stopping by! I'm putting everything I can into this grow! Had a little trouble with the DWC early on but now I feel like I'm just cruising until harvest.

    Nice!  :metal:

I'm still a little stunned by the prolific and healthy growth in my DWC buckets!  :bongin:<span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></span>

  5. Yea! I have plans to do another DWC vs supersoil once this is done. This time I hope to run 2 clones of the same strain so it will be a more comparable. Originally I was using general organics BioThrive in the DWC system and ended up with pH issues and a CaMg deficiency that I have overcome since switching to general hydroponics flora.

  6. I'll be watching for that comparison when you get around to it!

So far except for a touchy sativa, my DWC results have been breathtaking as far as I'm concerned. I use the FloraSeries as well, but diviate from the popular Lucas formula. I always add the GH ArmorSi in the water first before I mix in any nutes, as well as in any plain ph'd water I might add. I also use a low dose of cal- mag with every liquid mix. My only other variations are some humics and a hard to find product called S.O.S., which mitigates any inert stuff such as mineral salts into something the plants can use, and helps protect roots.

During the middle and latter flowering stage I do use some carboload stuff and KoolBloom. Never any stronger that a 50% mix.

    Keep up the good work!

  7. Hey GC! Here is picture of the flowering plants! 1407115606105.jpg
The auto white widow is flowering nicely starting to get really dense and crystals are starting to form everywhere! 1407115650606.jpg 1407115667599.jpg

The berry ryder is also doing extremely well! It has lots of side branches and the bud sites are super hairy and the trichrome covered calyxes are starting to fatten up and multiply! 1407115620097.jpg 1407115632786.jpg

That is all for now! Feel free to leave some advise or comments!

  8. damn the berry rider looks like a beast!

  9. I just threw together a quick AACT and thought I'd share my bare bones recipe! In 1.5L of water I added 4 tbls of earth worm castings (1.77-1-0.5), 2 tbls of bloom bat guano (0-12-4), 2 tbls of slow release bone & blood meal (7-7-0), 1 tbls of Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom for soil, and 1 TSP of General Organics CaMg+. The solids I put in an old sock and with the air stones in as well and tie it off with a rubber band. I will leave mixture aerating for 18-24hrs until it has a nice froth on it then dilute 1 part tea with 3 parts water! This will give me enough to feed the berry Ryder as well as my cherry tomatoes and sunflowers!

  10. Hey GC!

Here is quick update from my cabinet! This morning I removed the 2x 23w CFLs and put the 135w UFO back in place! 1407765782295.jpg

The auto white widow is looking pretty nice so far. Its main cola is very dense and the trichomes are coming out in force! It is still very green and a little leafy for my likings but it still has time to finish nicely! 1407766157675.jpg 1407766167463.jpg

The berry Ryder is doing beautifully! Its main cola is stacking pretty nicely and all the branches are budding really nicely as well! In the last week trichrome production has exploded and the buds are growing in size and density. They are starting to look really nice with wispy pistils and frosty interior leaf tips sticking out! 1407766121805.jpg 1407766136005.jpg

Here's some closer shots of the berry Ryder! 1407766201856.jpg 1407766217170.jpg 1407766254113.jpg

And a closer look at the auto white widow! 1407766276995.jpg

    Hey GC!

If you guys recall I started this grow with a third plant, an auto cheese, that stalled out at about 1-2" after 3 weeks so I relegated to my balcony. It sat out there in about 7 hours of direct late day sunshine and grew another inch or so but never really took off at all.

Well that tiny plant yielded a single gram. And here are some pics of the dried bud. 1408159128313.jpg 1408159176974.jpg
This little bud is about 1/3 of the total yield. As you can see it is actually pretty frosty making it look quite appealing!

Its has a really nice fresh initial cheesy smell with a sweet sorta skunk Finnish. It was only dried for 48hrs with no cure and the smell was still really nice and strong.

The smoke was also quite amazing! It was incredibly smooth for no cure. The taste was a nice mellow sweet kush that starts off slow and by 3s after exhale it becomes fully pronounced before fading slowly.

The high is really nice! Its lifting and quite heady with a slight body effect that makes your limbs feel lighter. It comes on relatively slow making the high quite relaxing mentally and physically.

I wish It had done better thankfully I still have another auto cheese seed I think somewhere in my stash. Unfortunately I made the mistake of transplanting instead of just going right I to the 3gallon pot. The organic plant transitioned flawlessly but unfortunately the coco auto cheese didn't take well at all. Overall I'm pleased with the quality but I'm bummed at how little I yielded because I wish I had more of this smoke!

  13. Hey GC! Here is an update from my Auto Cabinet! 1408280324925.jpg 1408280294608.jpg

The Berry Ryder is doing very well and is 2 weeks or less from finishing! The smell is really nice and the buds are super frosty and are nice and dense as well! 1408280218979.jpg 1408280231867.jpg 1408280252267.jpg 1408280270040.jpg 1408280284846.jpg 1408280312137.jpg

The Auto White Widow is also doing very well! The bud is very dense and the calyxes are swelling up nice! The plant is still very green and leafy and has 2-3 weeks left. I went down to half strength nutrients to start the flushing process. 1408280161530.jpg 1408280184035.jpg 1408280205014.jpg 1408280303394.jpg

Hope you enjoy! Peace & Love

    Very nice work!  :bongin:<span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);"> </span></span>

  15. So the day is upon us! Tonight I will be chopping down the Berry Ryder and Auto White Widow! I will of course take some pictures for you guys before they actually come down! Once they are down I will putting 2 new plants in the cabinet! This time I will be doing 2 photoperiod plants. A World of Seeds Afghan Kush x Skunk (fem) and a THSeeds Lambo (reg). I started them in my PC case about 3 weeks ago in 5.5" square pots. I am using the mainlining technique and have topped for 8 tops. Tonight they will be transplanted into 3 gallon pots and will veg for another week or two before switching to flower!

I am also thinking about separating my cabinet by putting a shelf about 12-16" tall and use the bottom for veg/clone. That will still leave 36"+ in grow height in the top of the cabinet!

Anyways I will update with some pics before and after harvest!

    Peace & Love

  16. Hey guys!

Chopped the 2 plants down! Got them all trimmed up and drying as we speak!

The Auto White Widow was pretty leafy but very crystalline! Some of the interior and lower bud sites are a little on the airy side but are sticky as hell. The main cola is pretty dense with big swollen calyxes turning a nice rich purple! 1409331817054.jpg 1409331650445.jpg 1409331660873.jpg 1409331670637.jpg 1409331681267.jpg 1409331711045.jpg 1409331762327.jpg

The Berry was a beautiful plant to grow! The structure was amazing with each branch producing a nice sized bud up top and only a few smaller ones down the stock. The main cola is a nice size and has lots of colour from green to yellow to purple to white! 1409331535414.jpg 1409331543634.jpg 1409331555849.jpg 1409331572522.jpg 1409331580903.jpg 1409331591641.jpg 1409331614156.jpg 1409331624723.jpg

I will take a couple pics of the drying bud tonight and post some manicured pics for you guys to see how everything turned out! That will be followed a few days later with an initial smoke report and then hopefully if I remember a full cure smoke report after a few weeks!

    Peace & Love

  17.
Very nice! I'll have to send my friend by here to see how well you're doing with smaller plants!

I had 3 White Widows last grow. Nice weed for sure, but it's too floral for my preference. I'll probably end up making most it into either eJuice or edibles. My biggest problem last grow was going too long with the girls, and I'm missing out on that more psychoactive head buzz. I have an Aurora Indica going now that really booming, and can't wait to see how she turns out. I'd like to see some of that color in mine too!

  18. Hey!! So the buds have dried and have started curing in jars! I am quite impressed with the bud I got but hope to improve yield and potency with photos my next go round which you can find here!

    http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-medical-marijuana-growing/1330945-pyspheres-cabinet-garden-afghan-kush-x-skunk-lambo.html

    Strain: Berry Ryder
    1410913160164.jpg 1410913137332.jpg 1410913113674.jpg 1410913048909.jpg
    Yield: ~1.75oz
Potency: 7.5/10 - Very nice high with a good combination of head and body effects!
Smell: 7.5/10 - A nice earthy smell with a sweet after tone.
Smoke: 8/10 - Very smooth inhale with a rich hashy taste and sweet berry taste as you exhale.
Bag Appeal: 7.5/10 - Good density with a good bit of color from the reddening pistils emerging from the buds. At first glance the buds are not overly frosty but upon a closer look, and especially while busting the bugs, you can see the plethora of trichomes.

    Strain: Auto White Widow
    1410912981070.jpg 1410912990273.jpg 1410913007113.jpg 1410913026706.jpg
    Yield: ~1.25oz
Potency: 7/10 - A good high with a pretty strong couch lock effect.
Smell: 6.5/10 - A lighter smelling bud with a sour woody aroma.
Smoke: 6/10 - A heavier smoke that inhales smoothly and is deceiving because it leaves you wondering when the exhale is going to end as you fall into the high. The taste isn't there and the dirty taste lingers in your mouth. It is much better in a joint than in a bong.
Bag Appeal: 6/10 - leafy but quite crystalline. The buds are lacking in density and shape but do appear quite frosty.

Feel free to ask any final questions here and follow my next grow at the link above or follow my signature! its been a good one!

    As always,
    Peace & Love

  19. Looking good man! That Berry Ryder was just the right height for what I'm doing. You can check it out in the sig. I have a WWxBigBud goin now. 30 Days in flower. I might have to try some autos and see. If they would all end up like your B Ryder, then it would be on! Good job though!
