  1. Hey you guys I've spent countless hours researching and soaking up information about CFL grows (Thank you Kamel). I'm just doing one plant for now to see if I can handle it. So I have a ton of bagseed from my buddy's outdoor crop last year.. dumbasses accidentally left a male in the crop and he pollenated the bunch to hell. So I germinated it, planted it in a solo cup, and currently have 1 23 watt CFL on it, but I can add more if needed? (1600 lumens 6500k). Lights about 1 inch from the top of dirt. Will use soil when I transplant to bigger pot. Just here for a little support and advice on my first grow. I've been told first growers usually always run into problems and I know grasscity has very reputable people. So wish me luck!

  4. Does anyone know if 1 23watt CFL is enough for the seedling stage? I can add more if need be.

  5. It should be fine for now, when the plant gets bigger it will need more light though.

  6. Sweet I have access to about 150 watts of 23 watt cfl for her progress into a budding beauty when I will add lighting and a better spectrum of light. So she will be surrounded in good lighting untill then. Feel like I have a good hang of this grow so far. Going to get nutes and soil come friday. Gonna get FFOF. Heard so much good things about em. Walls are matte white but I will put up Mylar for better reflection.

  10. Looks good, what nutes you gonna use?

  11. Will be purchasing the fox farms soil nutes. Grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom. Also gonna get FFOF soil. Sound good? Have you used these nutes with success before?

  12. Nah I can't grow because of the extremely strict laws here. But I have heard good things of Fox farms.

  13. Bummer mate. Maybe someday you will be able to cultivate freely. Untill then you can soak in all the knowledge and know how before you start.

  14. That little ass light isn't going to grow that plant, the plant needs real sunlight to achieve greatness

  15. Lol, half correct. But you really can get some decent yields with enough CFL. Check out the other grow journals you'll be amazed.

  17. Hey all, another quick update.

Day 3 and she seems to be looking good. Just watered her a little as the soil was fairly dry. How do you guys think she looks?

Also, when should I pot up? Have heard theres no true way to tell I think I will wait untill her roots are well established. I'll update again in a few days.

  18. Get those plants as close to the lights as possible. Mine stretched just a lil' bit because they were too far when they sprouted.

And try adding a little perlite for your mix when you move them to the pot. Works wonders for drainage and the roots get extra oxygen :)

    Looking good so far!
