Entering 3rd week of flowering.

So, the plants are doing great. Just so happens that the prized bagseed I have is mostly sativa so Im looking at a long flower time. The THC Bomb is growing super quick. The Bagseed has stepped it up in the past few days though. There's a total of 4 bagseed. All except one bag seed are doing great. From the looks of it I have one that is completely indica and three thats sativa dominant. One of the sativa dominant has yet to even show more than a couple hairs. Its making me really upset. I figured they would all be close to each other and thats not the case at all. Even the indica is growing slow. The only one growing fast is the bomb. Lol I have also been directing my sole attention to the THC Bomb, that's my Babygirl!

Yea man I completely understand. My next grow is going to be something else. Its going to be on a different level. This is more like a test/tryout with LED'S before I take the plundge. I have a 1000w Hps room running all WW's right now too. The Hps so far in the same amount of time is in fact showing faster growth rates but we will see.

I believe theres something LED'S are missing man. Like how they say that HPS only puts out 15% of usable light because of wasted spectrums. I believe theres some spectrums in the hps lighting and sun that LED manufacturers arent understanding. I dont believe that hps is only putting out 15% of light thats actually used either. If thats true then out of a 1000w HPS only 150w would be getting used. Okay well take that 150w and a LED using "Target Spectrums" of the same wattage of 150w. So itd be 1000w HPS against 150w LED and see whos gonna have more bud. I honestly believe theres spectrums that arent understood. With that said then more than 15% of hps lighting would be used because they are basing that on the spectrums they think are the only ones being used.

I like LED'S, hell Im using them and producing good bud. Already true watt for watt leds would take it. Im just saying that the 15% thing is not true and that there are somr spectrums that they are missing. That's why the newer LED'S are using the white spectrum, thats a true full spectrum and they are doing great. That just proves my point of missing specs. Although if we can hit the exact spectrum than they would be even more efficient than the white leds because since the white leds have such a wide spectrum Im sure there are unused specs in there taking wattage for no reason.

 

I dont get it. All the money these companies have for research and all the technology out there and still noway to nail down a perfect spectrum yet. Wtf!

 

That would produce some giant frosty buds. They are saying certain leds are producing a frostier product for sure. Thats just because they are mixing the blue spectrum in with the red, thats the same thing a combo of MH and HPS would do, that's why some people use them as a combo. Also the LED'S using UVB promotes alil frostier product too. Though that works on triggering the plants natural defense system which happens to be resin production, there are other ways to do this but have negatives too like creating a drought or cutting slits in the stalks. Each can stunt bud growth so UVB would be the best choice with minimal negative impacts.
