  1. Hello, hello! I'm kinda done doing the same ol' same ol'. So i googled traveling stuff and ran across living abroad. It sounded cool, so i've been trying to get some information on it, but I got dick...
If anyone has any, like, experience or tips, I'd appreciate it!!!

  4. Any idea of where, how long, and for what reasons? Just to "live abroad" won't get you the necessary residential permissions.

  5. Get good at making friends if you're not already.

I agree with anepitaph though... give us more.

  6. Get a van or car and drive round europe, take your time and work in different places til you find somewhere you like then think about getting a property or some shit

  7. a soggy fish said it pretty spot on! Just take your time, and travel around. I could recommend finding a region where the local language is of interest to you? So learning the language might be a further motivation!

Any idea where you want to go? This might help us, to answer you.

  8. Problem with that again, you can't just work without the proper visa allowance. Unless he does have a more accurate idea of where and when, we can't really help with accurate suggestions.

For Europe, it can be tricky because they must first find workers within that country. If not, then they search EU countries before any others.

  9. dude, totally unrelated, but that is the dopest avatar ever. where'd you find that shit?

  10. Hey man :smoke:

I am glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this avatar is dope  :smoking:

I was just searching for a new avatar I just type J Dilla on google images, and scrolling down I found this. Someone was inspired by Charlie Brown haha. Sadly, I take no claim for this one, would be awesome if there were more like these, of different mcs / rappers / producers / djs.

And sorry  op for derailing subject... :bongin:

  11. all good brah. The reason i wanted to try living abroad was to try something new, start fresh in a whole new enviorment, really find out who I am outside of US societal limitations.

You must not have looked very hard, because there are hundreds of websites all about living abroad just about anywhere you could imagine. Before anyone can help you though, you'll need to tell us a little bit more about where you'd like to go and what you'd like to do while you're there. Are you going to work? Travel? Stay in one place? Move around?

I've done my fair share of country hopping and emigration. Preparing to set off on it again, as we speak. It's a big step, but if you're committed, there are few things as rewarding.

If Australia interests you, I'd be a good fella to hit up with questions. I wrote about my experiences here: http://forum.grasscity.com/real-life-stories/1120265-time-i-travelled-across-australia.html?hl=that+time+hitchhiked+across+australia#entry16015389

  14. Download a chat app like pal talk and talk to people that live where you're interested in going.
