Ya I'd give bubba 10:1 odds, I've grown cookies before and it's a beast and the thin mint has at least 50 gallons more soil, but I would be pleasantly suprised if it did.
this whole run is a pleasant surprize.... I have heard a lot of good things about the Bubba's goin off outdoors very well...so ya never know, plus I'm a guy who loves the under dogs....
Happy Father's Day gentleman ( I use that term loosely. ). Haha Have a great day guys. I'm going to have to place my bet for the trifecta I'll take cookies, bubba, GDP.
So I put the cages on bubba and cookies and did a but of pruning up to get rid of suckers and anything to close to the ground trying to direct the plants energy where I want it. Bubba Cookies Cracked the stem while aggressively training the cookies, nothing a little green plant tie won't fix The garden all caged up
A match made in heaven. Two good friends, one with a great plot and lacking plants, the other with great plants but lacking a plot! So glad I found this journal. We'll all have a better chance of getting together this harvest season if Richard is gunna be traveling down this way now and then. Too cool.
Cleaned up the cheesequake today, pruned the scrubs and suckers off the bottoms. Then I spread her out and cage LST'd her, also lassoed the main stem and pulled it 4" toward the north thus opening up the middle of the plant to more sun. CQ before CQ after She has new shoots everywhere and a few new branches, in a few days she's going to eat that cage.
Toped the GDP with a 3/4 of a bag of EWC today she is really branching laterally off the main branches so I figured it was safe to add some worm poos and give her a little extra for the new limbs that are forming. Cookies already recovered from last evenings LST, she is already 80% as big as the GDP and the GDP has a 3 week head start, by flower it will be trying to eat the other plants in the garden for food she's such a beast, just wait you'll see And last but not least bubba 2.0, after pruning the bottom 5" of branches off last nite she has shot up at least 3" in height and is already throwing new nodes up top. I really like this plant, check out the top just moves around like a satellite dish following the sun and leaning the whole plant to get more of it. The whole garden
