I'm backkkk. My stars aligned and I can get back at it finally. After one grow and years of reading hopefully I can make my second go at it a good one. Ill be using a 600 Watt dimmable but while they're still babies I have them under CFLs. I'm growing them in some Light Warrior soil until I transplant them into 5 gallon buckets using 50/50 FFOF with Coco. I think ill just be using light training with them, nothing to fancy for now. As for the strains I chose... 3 Reserva Privada Skywalker Kush 1 Barney's Farm Blue Cheese 1 Dr Krippling Delhi Friend 2 Seedsman White Widow X Casey Jones The Dr Krippling Delhi Friend was one of the first seeds I ever got and sounded super frosty if you check it out so I had to try it. I dropped 2 W.W X C.J cause I thought one was a dud the way it immediately sunk into the glass of water but I got 100% germ rate so I'm gonna cut one from the team before flower. Also if anyone got a cool name for the W.W X C.J cross lemme know I'm thinking maybe Albino Jones but not sure. Ill try not boring people with tons of pics since veg pics can get real boring so maybe ill update pics once a week until flowering, unless I run into a problem. Idk to much bout Chernobyl but the name alone makes it sound intense. Im excited to see what Cheesequake can do tho. Save me a bean or 2 for the future! I ran the MH for a hour yeaterday and it only got to 75 degrees without fans runnin so I'm excited for that. No tent yet but read alot about DIY tents. Hopefully I can build one before flower. I would go with DIY tent for sure if it suits your living situation. A decent sized room can be built with 2"x2" studs and panda poly for under $100. I spent $450 on my 4'x8' tent. It's nice but its a bitch on the back to work in there and get plants in and out if you like to stuff it full like I do. (gotta make full use of my area). The only good thing about the tent(for me) is that I rent and have the possibility to move or need to do emergency shut down/removal. Tent can also act a bit like an oven. It's better to build a room with more cubic footage for the cooling factor, even if you are lighting up the same square footage. Just my opinions and experiences. Different strokes for different folks.
Well said ^ I veg in a tent, flower in a built room. My flower room is pretty ghetto. Jus panda film attached to basement ceiling. Think I built it for around 50$.
