  1. For the past week and a half my plant has has Orange spots at first thought maybe it was rust or a nitrogen deficiency but I've been giving it Humboldt county grow nutrients. I haven't saw any improvements, I have been using distilled water, ffof soil mixed with some moss and permits mixed in the ph of soil was 6.08 at last watering. It's a bubba cheese auto, I have it in a box that is 24 in x12 in x6 in with 2 fans 80mm with filters. I'll post pic of box has 5 23w cfls in it.

  3. Your soil is way too hot, your plant has a touch of Leaf Phyllotaxy, which will grow out of it ..as it is so young avoid feeding to much, as this is an auto avoid feeding to much, moss and peat hold in water and nutes to the soil, avoid this situation, best to repot with 50% perlite and plain potting mix ..avoid at all costs overfeeding

Thanks, is this also causing the Orange on the leaves. I will try that what brand of potting soil would u suggest. I only put 5ml in the gallon of distilled water. Is this a problem of my box being to hot inside as well? I just wanted to make sure I had enough light in there and can't fit any bigger bulbs in there I want to upgrade to a bigger box eventually but not many good premade choices and I'm not very handy as far as construction. I understand electrical some what.

Some of the Perlite has changed Orange as well in the pot. Is this Orange caused by a fungi ? She is also between 2-3 weeks old.

  6. Perlite is neutral and it don't affect the plants in anyway, see the orange as a stain from the nutes, Fox Farm Ocean Forest is very popular with many growers and add 30-50% perlite to dilute the FFOF hot soil, Miracle Grow also, but if you are new to this best to spend on the right soil and should last you 2-3 grows, just add a top up each year, .. like what hippies call amendments, like goat shit or blood and bone meal added later to keep the nutes up in the soil.
Your plant can go with 3 cfl's for now at about 2-3 inches from the tops, ensure you keep an eye on the temps,

but really any good potting mix grom a gardne store will do, just don't burn the roots with the nutes

I thought miracle grow wasn't good for weed? and is there a potting soil that is the best for it or just like a standard bag from Lowe's or home depot? And as far as the orange spots what's causing that. I thought the one tip looks pretty bad imo. Is it cal / mag deficiency?
