15 days. Transplanted to 3 gallon pots with fox farm ocean forest and put the lighthouse hydro 5x5x7 tent up. Put the 600w HPS light up. Just have a 6 inch room fan with windows open for now. I'll be putting in exhaust in a few days. I think I'll be opening a basement window and cut plywood to the window size with a 4 inch hole for the vent I got. Only about 72 in there now, which is good Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Day 24. Looks like burn on 2 leaves, weird it's only on one plant? Maybe I dropped some water on the leaves and that burned it. I'm easing into nutes pretty slow. After the photo I put up a string scrog to the top of the tallest plant. Probably 10-12 inches from soil I'm guessing. Got my exhaust installed. Venting to the outside through a window. It was 70 deg in there this evening. Been running the 600w 24/7. I think I'll put a timer on them soon to cut down a few hours. One of the 7 think different seedlings did not make it, so I'm down to 6 (back two rows) and the 1 ultraviolet and 1 northern light blue. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
So I'm looking into setting up a auto watering system. Probably won't use a timer because I want to be sure they need water, which seems to change as they grow. But If I could just plug in the pump and wait 2 minutes, much easier then hand watering which is getting a little harder and will be MUCH harder as they grow. I would like to set up like a DIY water halo system. Here is my list of supplies I'm thinking. I'll use the tees to make the circular tube that goes around the base of the plant and drill/cut some holes in the tubing. I already have a 11 gallon garbage can and 250 GPH Active Aqua submersible pump. I'll need: 1. Raindrip 13800UB Hydro-Port 8 Port Watering Manifold 2. Rain Bird T22-100 - 1/4" Blank Tubing 100' Roll 3. Rain Drip 307025B Barbed Tee Bulk, 1/4-Inch 4. Rain Bird TS2510PK - 1/4" Tubing Stakes Anyone else create something like this for watering? Haven't set one up myself yet, but as a coco grower, I've been extremely interested in setting up an automated drip water system of some sort. Just do your research, organize the setup and you will be fine. Lot's of people on Grasscity who use the watering systems. Try searching the forum with some keywords and you might stumble on some good setups.
27 days. Got most of my auto water system set up. Need a bit more tubing to go from the 8 split to the top watering rings I made. Also need some stakes to hold the tubing in place. Here's a shot of my exhaust also. Had to hang the fan from bungee cords instead because when it was screwed into the beam it was super loud from vibrations in the room above. Might throw some insulation between the fan and ceiling also to cut down on noise. 31 days. I installed all of my top drip water rings. I'll see how everything works tonight when I feed them. I have the hose connected to a 290 GPH submersible pump in a 10 gallon plastic garbage can. All the hose is 1/2 inch, split into 8 rings with 6 holes in each. I used some electrical tape to help hold the rings in place. Don't have stakes for tubing. I'm hoping the water pressure is good. Defiantly into flowering. I turned my fan up to 20% or so, to make sure I have negative pressure in the tent. Still running the 600w HPS 24/0. From what I've researched this fine while flowering as all 8 are auto flowers. 38 days. About 5 1/2 weeks. They are loving the nutes. Threw on a 6" carbon filter on the end of my airtight light hood. After some LST.. (I took some nice photos with my camera that I'll post probably tomorrow.) Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
More 38 day photos. Looking a little droopy, might need to water more often. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I thought maybe under watering, not over. I am using RO water. PH is good. Might just give then clean water next time they are dry. Seems like they get thirsty a lot quicker. I slowly went up to like 1/2 the recommended dosage for nutes. which i've previously posted but here it is again. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I meant to say under... My main point is you have a N toxicity on at least 2 plants. Each plant will have its own water and nute needs using schedules will end up causing troubles because every plant is different
You think 1.5 ml of FloraGro, Micro and Bloom with .5ml of Floralicious Plus (per gallon) caused them to start to develop Nitrogen toxicity? Did some research and I think I am going to take out the FloraGro and just use the Lucas formula with Floralicious plus. (I'll start at half recommended, so 4ml Micro and 8ml Bloom per gallon and see how they look. I guess I should also keep the feeding to every other time, and just water every other time.
Most autos are more nute sensitive and it can vary by plant... I don't know much about this nutrient line to be honest... just know how to spot N toxicity, cal mag deficiency, over / under watering, etc. From what I have read you can't go wrong using the Lucas formula though.
Hey i grew some nice think differents a few months back Proper chunky girls Id go with over water n-tox leafs are darker green normally burnt tips and more clawing action on clawing plants a pic under normal light would be much better auto help page http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1294434-Need-help-with-autos?-Welcome new vote page http://www.dutch-passion.nl/en/photovote/2014-04-05-autoxtreme%C2%AE-loki_1624/
Are you in soil or coco and do you let them go dry so pot is light and still dry an inch down cause cannabis likes dry and drench so run water till 20% run off then wait till shes dry auto help page http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1294434-Need-help-with-autos?-Welcome new vote page http://www.dutch-passion.nl/en/photovote/2014-04-05-autoxtreme%C2%AE-loki_1624/
