  1. Any reptile owners on here? Love the hobby, I would have more reptiles if I could but right now I only have a ball python. But soon I will be getting a black and white Tegu lizard. Just wanted to know how many reptile owners are on here lol.

  2. Leopard gecko breeder over here, 50+ geckos

  3. Wow, awesome! You just breeding them to sell? I'll have to get a pair of my own one day, they look so friendly.

No I don't just breed to sell, I love these little guys. Started with one from a breeder and now I just work with them trying to improve colors on them. Trust me, the reptile business is no way to make money. I have about a hundred babies a year that sell for $50-$300 and by no means do I make profit. Just a great hobby :)

  5. Yeah I wouldn't want to breed them for money. It is a great hobby but gets expensive. That would be a great breeding experiment, trying to get the coolest morphs as possible.

  6. Always wanted a snake, but they are slightly boring for me.

Chameleons are totally awesome, especially the blue or orange panthers.

Right now I have 2 desert tortoises, about the size of a plum.

  7. a cobra for me please

  8. I got a California King Snake for my 6th birthday in '94 and she's still kickin 20 years later

  9. that's awesome, I really wish I still had my first reptile. Had a corn snake when I was young and then got a ball python so it was time to put my corn snake in a smaller tank and the ball python in the big one. I didn't take notice of how light the screen lid was on the small tank so the snake was able to push it open at night and got out. I never saw him again, but at least I've never made that mistake again.

  10. You should get a snake! They may be a little more boring compared to quick lizards and others but they are so unique and its really fun and rewarding to watch them eat live mice lol. They definitely have got to be the easiest to take care of, feeding them like once a week or so, they poop like once a month, their urine solidifies, the only tough part really is maintaining the cage.

  11. Snakes are pretty cool. I have two cornsnakes that are 3+ ft long. They're about 2 years old. Also have a bearded dragon that does absolutely nothing but eat crickets. He's like 5 years old. Gotta love em.

  12. Many of my friends have snakes, including colorful pit vipers.

    I dunno, not my thing.

Later on, I do want to convert a bedroom into a chameleon breeding habitat. Baby panther chameleons sell for up to $100 each. And they have hundreds of eggs per clutch.

  13. i have had a red tail boa {8 feet long}, Honduran milk snake {2 1/2 feet long}, several bearded dragons, several corn snakes {crazy ass colors / albinos} and a couple of veiled chameleons. i don't have any reptiles at the moment. my wife hated my big ass boa constrictor because i fed it live rats and rabbits. egads that thing was messy. i had to feed it in the shower because of the mess it made. blood, guts and shit all over. plus a good warm bath helps the get the reptiles digestion going and i hated cleaning up after that snake. just hose him off in the shower and wash all of the gunk down the drain.

that little Honduran milk snake was the biggest bastard of them all. that snake wouldn't just kill its prey {via constriction} it would murder them. i mean freaking crush their eye balls and stuff out. you couldn't pick that snake up either because even though he couldn't get his mouth open wide enough to bite you and would try incessantly to do it, he would instead shit and piss all over you to communicate his current feelings. no matter how many times i tried to take him out it never tamed him. just one evil little bastard of a snake. i never liked that snake.....

  14. I once owned an anaconda, he asked to be fed buns but I only had meat. He didn't want none.

Here's our ball python at lunch time!

My little brother wants to get a chameleon as well. There's a few at the pet shop in town, I think we're already close enough to a zoo though. They're funny as fuck to watch though, they move like they're wasted

  16.
I have a bearded dragon and a ball python, I find them to be very calming. They don't really get excited very often, maybe thats why.
I always thought crested geckos were very cute. :)
