What up all, I am "Bob" and I am new here! I am not sure whether I have been looking at the wrong places but recently I have found that there are only very few "stoner" movies around. Other than the usuall "big hits" such as Pineapple Express, This Is The End, Harold and Kumar, Cheach & Chong, Half Baked and few other ones there aren't many decent (production value, cast, comedy factor) movies about marijuana (non documentary ones). So I am putting this thread together so we can compose a list of comedy movies or better yet, 'Stoner Movies' that we can all share and enjoy. Smiley face is pretty good it's about a a girl that eats a whole batch of weed cupcakes and it goes from there id give it a 7/10 it has Anna Faris I think her name is, she's the blond chick that played on most of the scary movies. I wouldn't say it's a "stoner" movie but Humboldt County is a cool one, about a straightedge awkward dude being abducted to a pot farm. Not too dramatic, kinda realistic. Not that bad. Sent from my XT1058 using Grasscity Forum mobile app

Seen it yesterday, pretty good although not a huge fan of dramas but a comedy nontheless. Got this recommended to me as well: Trailer Park Boys 8/10 IMDB rating
How about true romance I had the pleasure of having a smoke with Brad Pitt once, really nice guy when stoned.. In the mean time I recommend to watch Amstardam the movie when it comes out, I have been at the set for two weeks and they are doing some crazy shit. How High with Method Man and Redman is pretty funny. It's definitely far better than any comedy starring Method Man and Redman has any right to be. Half Baked is, to me, overrated but still funny. Inherent Vice was really funny, I know really nobody saw it but stoners especially should watch that shit. I consider A Serious Man a stoner comedy, and it's really funny. The characters keep smoking weed throughout the whole movie.
