so after doing a few minutes of research, the coffee perculator was invented in 1810 by Sir Benjamin Thompson and was mass produced by 1819 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coffee_percolator I can just imagine some stoner in the 90s trying to smoke out of their coffee maker and starting a revolution
