So I decided to take an old computer I had lying around and had done some research on PC Growboxes so I decided to make one and attempt to get a female out of 3 Bagseed! I will be updating frequently so definitely look forward to seeing your feedback and advice since this is my first ever grow! Oh and don't mind the painters tape and messy wiring that was just short term for testing. Peace!! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Make sure you setup a proper ventilation system, it can get pretty toasty in that small case! The stock fans in the case can be pretty useful. I might be doing something similar, not 100% sure yet... Good luck Sent from my SGH-I337M using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yeah I have 1 intake and 1 outake fan and the box has been on for about 11 hours and temps are pretty cool for 3 CFLs. I should have an update on one of the seedlings that popped up in a few
Hey bud..your gna want to replace the foil ASAP...if you can't, at the very least try to get it as smooth as possible. foil create hot spots and it's not that reflective Also, you should space out your fans..one on opposite sides of the case or one at the top the other at the bottom..I dnt think your going to get good circulation or air exchange the way you have it now _________________ Check out my Journal!!! http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-beginners/1307645-first-grow-organic-northern-lights-pc-grow.html
Yeah I have heard the foil is pretty much worthless but it's all I really have access to at the moment so I that's just what I had thrown in it. I'll take a look at where I could put the fan on the other side but as for now it seems to be working well Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Seems to have turned color and formed leaf pretty fast from last night to this morning Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Looks good man. You should have added more soil to your container though. Also, throw out that foil. It's not helping.
Yeah the foil is definitely going to go tomorrow. As for the pots yeah I definitely should of added a little more . Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
So here's another update 3 days later. Do they look a little stretched or are they normal? Seems like the third seed never even popped out of the surface so took that one out. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Also I was thinking about getting some nutes so If you guys know of any that are "budget friendly" please let me know and I will definitely give them a look Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
A little stretchy but not to bad. If you could get a couple books underneath the pots to get them closer to the light. Just raise your thermometer to the level of your plants canopy. I use organic fertilizers to. I would refrain from using fertz this early. But I swear by Espoma Organic products. I prefer foxfarm soil but like the Organic Plant-Tone food. It's 5-3-3 NPK and cost around $10 for a nice big bag.
FoxFarm seems to be a pretty solid company I may get a bag of that for when I transplant one of these babies into another pot if one of the 2 end up being a female (Fingers crossed). If not it will be used when I order some legit seeds online. As for the light I will add a few more books under it and get them a little closer to the light. Thanks!
Here's a little update. The plants have been growing extremely fast and they seem to be healthy. Although this plant has a set of leaves that look extremely weird. Any idea why? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Hey bro...add more soil to your pot...it will thank you later for the extra grow space for roots! _________________ Check out my Journal!!! http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-beginners/1307645-first-grow-organic-northern-lights-pc-grow.html
Those are growing so fast? I have 1 indica bagseed and its been about 6 days and my true leaves haven't even finished forming
The pc is looking good. I would change the foil to Mylar and add more soil to the pots. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
