I don't know if anyone here is good at tracking or identifying animal tracks but I was walking around my spot and I saw these. Basically I just want to know if this animal with be a threat to my plants.

These pictures show how horrific the soil in my area is too. Dry, sandy, clay. I'm thinking about using MG organic mix with pertilite in 5 gallon buckets.

  7. First i have grown alot of bagseed, assuming your bagseed probably came from mexico expect very vigerous growth imo bagseed is one of the hardiest you could grow however expect alot of variation, some sativa goingwell into november while other indica dominant strains might finish as early october. Every once in a while you will find a gem in bagseed, i have found the tiny black seeds are very sativa dominant still with variation, the larger tiger striped seeds seem to be more indica dominant still with sativa but better chances ofharvesting more mature plants in my climate at 42 north.

As for soil, get a bag of premier sphagnum peat moss, order perlite and wormcastings online, find some good soil ammendments (alfalfa meal, kelp meal, high p bat guanos, ect).
Mix 20% wormcastings, 50% peat moss, and 30% perlite together and add a cup off domolite lime/oyster shell powder to every cubic ft of soil, then add your ammendments.

  8. You don't need to buy perlite and wormcastings online, they are readily available in most grow stores. And if you use soil amendments as opposed to liquid fertilizer you have to be sure you don't attract any animals, I had around 15 sites dug up by animals because I used blood and bone meal so now I'm using General Organics instead.

  9. Just checked the roots, need to replant. Took pictures of a gal 1402176641490.jpg

  10. Lookin good!

  11. I use kellogs patio plus. $5 for 1.5 cubic feet. With a box of year round fert at 1 cup per ft. Not enough time to cook soil for me neither so very lightly amended. But my plants are moving it. I also do feedings of fish/kelp/molases/guano weekly. I'm also on a very tight budget and its working for me

Yeah, you'll be surprised what you can find at stores nearby. I get Pro Mix HP from Home Depot and everything else is at my local grow store.

  13. I have looked at soil in stores for almost a week and still Walmart, yes I repeat Walmart is the cheapest and has the best soil I can buy on a budget. I plan on getting 2 bags of MG or Scotts potting soil (2.5 cu ft each) and 3 or 4 bags of MG perlite. Is this enough for 8 5 gallon buckets?
