Do You Guys Recommend The Viking Portable Library Books?

  1. So, as im sure many of you readers know, there is a company that releases a series called "the viking portable library" which seems to be an amalgomation of a particular writers essays, storys, short storys, or novels.

Im wondering if anyone reads these? And knows if these are complete stories? or just peices of each story?

Like, if i read the mark twain one for example, will i get all his stories in completion? Or like, edited down versions that are made for brevity.

I'd like to invest in this series, but only if they are the same as buying all the novels separately.

I currently own the mark twain and the Thoreau ones. But have no started reading them yet, and cannot find any information or even reviews for the series online.

    Thanks in advance,
    Cyllas
