So I just moved to Colorado Springs today and the dispensaries wouldn't sell me weed bcuz I didn't have a red card and they said Colorado Springs hasn't approved recreational weed and the bud tender said that if cops catch me with weed in Colorado Springs I'd get a possession charge since I don't have a red card. What the?.... I drove all the way to Pueblo to buy some.

Its legal in colorado but colorado springs in particular opposed the the legalization, due to the military bases and their christian conservative ways. Thats the only city i am aware in colorado that still has recreational use illegal. Go to denver (definately legal there) or any other city in besides co springs and blaze up

No need to get flared up, the police arent gonna get called because you smoke some weed in your own apartment. You could have a red card for all the other tenants and landlord know. Its none of their business, i think the landlord only cares about the cash you pay him and if the place is one piece. Its not legal yet in that city, no point in getting upset. Either get your med card or bring back weed. Just wait it will be legal soon enough.
I live in Colorado. Weed is legal here. Colorado Springs just caters to medical patients. Retail stores are all over Denver. All you need to be is 21+ to gain entry and purchase. Be aware, It's heavily taxed. The dispensary I work with sells all top shelf. For recreational an eighth is $45, but after tax it's close to $55. A gram is $13, but after tax is close to $16.

Ok cool. I plan on keeping my weed in the plastic containers in my back pack so I can go into the bathroom at work(whatever job I get) and get high. Using my smoke buddy of course.
Be aware that companies can still deny employment if you test positive for weed. That's if the job requires a drug test.
