I want to buy a vaporizer, but I know very little next to nothing, actually nothing about vaporizers. Is it okay to just buy one of the cheap ones sent from China? Or do I have to invest proper money in it? I've never tried it before, so I don't even know if I'll like it, feels kinda pointless spending 100's of dough on something I don't even know if I'll like. If you're smoking wax , you can go with one of the pen style ones. If you want something portable but are smoking flower I suggest an Arizer Solo or Magic Flight Launch Box. If you want a good vape that youll always use at home but is not too expensive, I suggest looking at the Arizer Extreme EQ or the DaBuddha Vaporizer.
Yup they are and those two are also fully portable. Another good portable I also forgot to mention is the DaVinci but I prefer the Arizer Solo anyways
I wouldn't buy one of the "El Cheapo", $50, made in China, knock-offs! First off, they are just what they are- CHEAP. In the whip-type vapes, the glass is very thin and breaks easily. The Chinese heating elements are suspect. China has been having a "small" problem with quality control for decades. (The latest China scandal is dog treats. There have been quite a few dogs dying from Chinese dog treats!) There have been anecdotal reports of worsening lung and immune problems after using "El Cheapo" vaporizers! GET AN AMERICAN MADE VAPORIZER! Secondly, the cheap vapes STINK of plastic. Now although this is considered as merely annoying by most tokers, it has a very serious source, phthalates! Phthlates are plastic softeners and are very dangerous to humans and other living things! Unless you live an extremely "clean" life (no plastics and away from pollution), your body has phthlates in it! So what do they do? Mess with sex hormones for a start! (These are a few titles from the just first page on phthlates at PubMed) Reproductive toxicity of lead, cadmium, and phthalate exposure in men. In pregnant women, phthlates have cause reproductive defects in their children! And you know that plastic "new car smell? That is partly the smell of phthlates! (Get a food-grade hose if your vape uses a whip! I replaced the hoses ASAP on both of my vapes!) So get a good, USA-made vaporizer! You'll support our economy and keep yourself healthier! Granny

There are some GREAT vapes made in China such as: Da Budda PAX The Ascent by DaVinci Zephyr Ion along with a few others that just escape me now. Also, some great vapes made in Canada such as the Arizer Extreme, the Arizer Solo, the HerbalAire and in Germany such as the Volcano, the Plenty and the AroMed. You don't need to buy a vape made in America to get a good vape but the warning not to purchase Chinese made knock-offs is a good one for they could potentially be very dangerous. The best advice I can give ANYONE that is thinking about purchasing a vaporizer is to head over to fuckcombustion.com and do a bit of research beforehand.
