Having problems as I can't find a case and I've been looking for months for one but I just can't get one!!!!! Really need help Help a guy out??
Do you use Kik? Also isn't your bulb 14 inches long? The only advice I can give is a diagonal from corner to corner/top to bottom. However that wouldn't work. Why are you trying to use such a large bulb? Look this is my PC box, from my old computer. It contains a lamp that I dismantled and I'm using a 13w 2700k cfl bulb. I see people using high wattage bulbs but this is a micro grow plus I'm experimenting so we will see. If you need a box to fit a 14 inch bulb, consider a huge cardboard box or a piece of furniture like a bookshelf with doors or something. Alien ware makes huge cases, dell makes a line of computers with huge cases. Shop at the local flea market or used computer store. Huge ass bulb lmao. Yes I have kik..... Also I don't know why I choose the bulb I just went straight ahead and bought it prob shouldn't have now!!! Just one bulb... A 13w also that's not enough surely!!!
I use an old server tower and that would have no problem fitting at least 1 if not 2 of those envirolights, right now it has 7 23 watt cfl's (4 6500k and 3 2700k) and a 55 watt cfl in 2700k pushing 15,000 lumens total and my plants are doing pretty good imo for my first grow. I'm pretty sure my normal pc case could fit that as well it would just be tight as hell. As for only 13 watts I wouldn't recommend using that for anything more than a seedling and you would have to add lights within the first few days. If I was you I would pick up 2 of the 55watters I have for flower and one for veg if you can find one in 6500k otherwise the 2700's will suffice, it cost me just over $10 at walmart it's a GE smartbulb.
