Home depot and lowes both carry a specific drill bit for putting holes in glass. They work pretty well but you need something to hold it.

Lmmfao. Unfortunately at the moment, i have more than enough girth to not require a pump. I do have a plumbers torch that i use for dabs. My problem was once i poked the hole with the nail it wouldn't release the nail so i ended up with a useless pretty piece of glass lol
