ATL.. Compared to a properly mixed soil, the GO line is complete crap. It would be one thing if it were 1-2 bottles, but you damn near gotta run the whole line to get any kind of decent results. Hard enough figuring out what's in 1 bottle and what it does, let alone 6.
 
 
 
I been secretly hoping you too would mix a soil soon brotha. That Build-a-soil website is pretty freakin sweet dude. Those nutrient packs make it so daggum easy to do.. I would give some serious thought to it if you are interested in being authentically organic, not just a sticker on the side of a bottle.

Well a part is kind of up to you. It depends on how much stuff your mixing..

Its just about adding equal amounts of whatever. You could make 1 cup be 1 part or 2 cups be 1 or 3 cups etc. Just be consistent on what you call a part.

Ahh I didn't acknowledge clearly real organics > bottle, let me do so. No question. But I would have to grow a 12-14 zip 20gal Blue Dream using GO and mail you a bud to change your mind about GO. It doesn't matter what I say lol.

The main reason I suggest the GO for AO is the water PH since we were dealing with similar issues a few weeks back. It makes my shitty tap water perfect. I do hate buying so much soil and not being able to reuse it over and over.

You make a valid point Iron. This is my thing. After getting the ingredients and cooking, if I can't use my tap water and have to buy (even more) distilled or RO it's not worth it for me now. Need some time and probably a harvest to plot it out. Screenshotted the post gonna go on BAS now

Just wondering why you still messing around all that stuff when I know you read all the success these guys are having with their own soils. Seems like the path you should be be headed down is all.
 
 
I bet your tap water will be just fine. You could get a small filter like I'm using and I haven't had an issue. Not having to worry about the ph has been pretty sweet, I gotta admit. I can put molasses in one day with super low ph and then Pro-tekt the next day which shoots it way high and the plant just loves everything.. I never adjust the ph at all, just make sure not to over do it.  Common sense goes a long way.. I know you would do really well with just a simple mix. not to mention it gets better the more you reuse it.

I leave mine moist and uncovered. But I've read you can cover it, just make sure it gets some air once in awhile. After the first week it should have a nice earthy sweet smell. Hth matt
