I am ordering a 600 watt hps tomorrow and I'm planning on getting about 3 more. I want to be able to pull 2.5-3 pounds out of each cycle. I'm thinking about keeping the lights on 24/7 and just moving the buckets to and from the light. I can grow twice as many like that and I should get twice the yield (Right?) I have grown indoors before with cfls and have helped several friends with their grows with hps. They usually like to grow smoke just for themselves and i'm more commercial atm. I will be using all organics, same thing I doing outside. worm castings bat guano donkey shit perlite MG soil (anyone recommend anything better but around the same price. I have to buy it by the bag) I have three rooms I can grow in. Two are closets (one big) and one is a full room. I would like to do as much as I can in the big room and leave the closets for mothers and vegging. The measurements of the room are: 12ft x 20ft The ceilings are about 8 1/2ft high. I'm looking for strains right now so if anyone has one they would like to suggest lemme know. Thinking about auroa indica and white widow. I can't seem to find a Strawberry Sour Diesel but I would love to grow it. Its one of my favorite strains of all time.

I've been thinking about hydroponics but I have heard that it takes away from the taste and the thc content. Is that true, can you tell the difference? I love the set up and is the bottom the hydro? What strains do you have there? The thing about hydro is... water is heavy and with as many plants and as many lights thats alot of moving but if it will double my yeild or get close to it, I think I can deal with a little heavy every day.
I'd stay away from MG soil. If you're considering an organic grow, that's about the farthest from it. Buy a few bags of sphagnum peat moss (3cf for ~15$) and find some good compost. Screw the miracle grow if you can.
I don't like Miracle grow but its all i can get at Walmart here. I mix my compost in with it. If you have a link to get the sphagnum for 15 that would be awesome! I would really like to keep all my indoor organic if possible. Thanks for the tip

All the biggest plants are hydro top photo just the blimp on the right. bottom photo the 4 on the right. you dont move hydro plants around like dirt but 5 gallon tubs are not bad.
Oh i like it! I've been thinking about getting a bunch of kiddie pools but wondering how I am going to disguise them outside. I know MG works but its not the best. Its working fine right now for both of ours.

Can someone help with a hydro set up , I have a garden tub in place willing and able to do any plimbing needed , . but know very little about the process. Currently growing in soil outside in buckets . Also i have one california light works 225 w , a 4' x 5' room with exhaust fan can i mix a HID fixture with the LED ?
