Brandinos 600W Tent

  1. Hello everyone!
Well first off I have one other grow under my belt which was roughly four to five years ago. So i'm just getting my feet back into the water with this one. Im using a 3.5'x3.5'x8' oasis grow tent along with a 600W dim able ballast and using Sunmaster Blue Ice 5500K metal halide for veg and Sunmaster Super high pressure sodium bulbs for flower. As for the hood I just have a Yieldmaster II. So lets get started! Im using about four year old Mr Nice Seedbank Master Kush Skunk X Afghan Haze. I germinated the seeds with the moist paper towl method and all four popped after 24hrs. They were planted May 11th and broke soil May 13th. Currently have my light dimmed down to 400W to be on the safe side. They are being watered with R/O water which I added a pinch of Cal-Mag too and the water is at 95PPM and 6.3 PH. Will probably bump the PPM up to 200 after a few more nodes come in. Using Fox Farm Ocean Forrest for my media and not sure what nutrient line I will use but I still have some time to decide once FFOF comes pretty packed out of the bag. The babies are in five gallon g-lite fabric pots. Also will be trying out scrog method with them ladies.
Well here are the pictures, thanks for following and I'm looking forward to updating often and getting everyone's input on the grow!

  2. Was bored today so I went ahead and built my scrog net. Just some 3/4" sch 40 PVC and some all natural plant tie. Wasn't sure on the hole size i've seen many different ones I ended up using 2.5"

  3. So I ordered a new fan this weekend it arrived today. As we all know summers come and that means heat. Decided its worth the little cash to ditch the four inch centrifugal fan and upgrade to a six inch hyper fan. Ill let you guys know if it makes a difference, but I must say this little fan is a beast and awesome with a built in speed controller.

  4. Put the new fan in the other day and didn't make any major drops Im running around 86* during day time and drops down to low 70's at night. Should be alright but have been thinking of trying a swamp cooler once I'm in a low humidity area generally run 15-25%. But anyways here is some pictures of the babies

The front left seems to be the runt of the family haven't noticed any real growth upwards in a while now. Just seems like they are growing slowly, any opinions ?

Hey bro, every things looking great so far!  I'm sort of in a similar situation.  I have several grows under my belt but its been over a year so I'm having to relearn a few things.  its more or less like riding a bike though so good luck to you.

the only thing I see right now is that you are using ocean forest as your grow medium.  I actually am using ocean forest as an amendment to my grow medium, and using as a top dressing in place of water soluble nutrients as sort of an experiment - but typically speaking I do NOT like ocean forest as a medium.  it tends to compress as time goes by, and it tends to be a little too hot for seedlings.  again though, I love it as an amendment.  I have found great success using Pro-mix for my base soil.

ill be keeping an eye out! cheers!

one last mention, if you are using ocean forest as a top dresser and hoping to give only water throughout grow, at some point you're going to need to add potassium and phosphorous during flowering to swing the NPK values towards numbers which are more favorable for cannabis flowering.

  15. Alright guys I need some help. As you can see in the last picture the ends of my leafs are curling down. What may this be? Ive read so many different things just not sure how to attack it. Ive heard Nitrogen, Mag, too much nutes. Just looking for some advice. Also wondering how im doing so far with the scrogging. They will probably be flipped here soon once im sure they'll stretch like crazy that first week. Thanks!

  18. Whoops sorry guys heres the most recent shot I have from a day or two ago. Also possible preflower?
Planning on flipping in a few days. Im planning on only using Tigerbloom for my flower nutrients. So my feed will be.(R/O water, CalMag, Tiger Bloom(every other feeding) and Great White(roughly every 8-10 days). What do you guys think thus far?
