i have a 12qt bag of happy frog soil, 1.5 cubic ft of ocean forest, and 1.7 cubic feet of super coarse perlite. my small clones are being hardedned off in solo cups and almost ready to be placed in the ground, the dirt they came in is low quality and i want to replace it. iam looking for all and any advice.

  2. I was gonna do this, still have two brand new bags, but am wary of having fungus gnats from fox farm, which i always get.

Lots of people do it without issue.

  3. @[member="pokesmot247"] after mixing, will it be okay to put my plants in right away? thanks.

I used to use FFOF an happy frog. You wanna start your seedlings or fresh clones In just happy frog. It's a lot less hot then FFOF. I've had many plant grow in just FFOF but I've been way more successful using happy frog alone first. Then id go ahead and mix 50/50 FFOF and happy frog. I add about 25% perlite so half of each soil used and then top in off with some worm castings. Worked great

  5. @[member="ComptonA55Tyler"] atm my plants are solo cups with low quality dirt. should i take them out and put them in another container with just happy frog then when there ready into the ground with the 50/50 mix?

  6. Yes sir in my opinion that's a really good mix and not very costly. FFOF has a lot of nutes in it too so idk if u are planning on feeding the plant but I wouldn't for awhile maybe 4 weeks after place in FFOF
