So, after discovering a few large problems with my last grow posthumous, I spent the last month or two purposely stressing and making the mistakes I KNOW cause problems. I've learned a lot, but this one stands out as the BIGGEST game changer. I had two clones from the same batch, both were grown in identical situations until I put them outdoors. I changed one to a 10 gallon smart pot and left the other in the original 3 galllon container indoors. It's a fabric pot with liner, not exactly the same, but similar material. I had intended to move the other, but had some other things going on with my outdoor grow. After being outside WAY too early (another experiment), they both began to flower so I cleared out some space and brought them back indoors. This is what ended up of both of them. You may notice a difference... They're about two weeks from harvest based on the trichs. I'll see what the final weight difference is and post it here.
As I was looking through some pics to get dates, I found this pic of the day I transplanted the big one. They were still pretty much the same size.
who wouldve figured container size makes a difference?! who wouldve figured airpots are more effective than pots that dont airprune? lol...im just trolling now cuz you tilted me...but feel a little better after seeing this thread. lol all nonsense aside. I wish you luck on the grow, and hope you get some fat nug harvest time.
