I say we start a don't vote campaign if 2016 is Clinton vs. Bush. Both of those names represent corporate and union interests not American interests.  I think progs, cons and libertarians can all agree that Clinton vs. Bush is not really a choice. Its establishment vs. establishment.

  2. Union interests

  3. I hate to say this but in the broad scope of the globe

Benefits for big business = benefits for US citizens

Although if Hill Dog gets elected, these "charitable contributions" will be considered bribing government officials and is highly illegal

  9. okay, ill bite, I disagree completely with your premise. Do you have any evidence to support that insane conjecture? Or do you just reach deep within the clouds and pull out fabricated suppositions, because from the way you tend to obfuscate and obscure the truth, there really isnt much else you could be doing...

    just my two cents

Jamester, what makes you think it will be bush vs clinton in '16 again? reminds me what Jesse Ventura said not too long ago: [speaking on the '08 election] "Do you realize if clinton won that election, it would be mean that for two decades weve had nothing but bush and clinton"

I dont even want to capitalize their names, fucking war mongers make me sick.

  11. Clinton literally has no serious contenders. The massive amount of money and power behind her makes her nearly invincible. On the  GOP side the establishment really wants either Bush or Christie. Christie has made it obviously clear that he is corrupt and belongs in jail. The establishment views the other contenders like Cruz, Paul, and others as too unpredictable and unelectable.

And finally I think the the powers that be would find it hilarious that the sheeple are given a choice between the two most corrupt families in America.

you're not impressing anyone with your use of a thesaurus.

When output from American GDP is strong (expected outcome of US based companies getting what they want), foreign investors want US dollars. The currency is strengthened because investors can borrow at a lower interest rate In their country and invest in US dollars and make to make a profit from the exchange fluctuation.

More investments into the US means the value of the dollars for you and I increases, meaning we can buy more goods, which I might add are almost all made overseas, at the same cost.

If you'd like to talk more about theories of rational investing and behavioral economics im down

    -Ron Paul.

If this system wasnt based on the subservience of the rest world, because bullies are gonna bully, what youre saying would have made sense. Who knows, in some bizzaro alternate universe, where there is free market, and sound money, maybe under those conditions small fish might benefit from big fishes. But its just not true in our universe.
"More dollars for  you or I"? Please look at the historical decrease of the value of the dollar then come speak to me.

-Edit; does bernanke pay you to say these things on here? how do I apply for that? Im broke...

lol historical decrease In comparison to what?

I said nothing about certral banks, everything I said revolves around the demand for US dollars which would exist regardless of a central bank.

Find some new meme's to get your info from because Bernanke isnt even in office anymore....

  16. Tje value of the dollar has dropped drastically when you compare it to goods you can buy in america with dollars.

Wages are not keeping up with inflation. Americans are getting poorer

  17.
    you're finally catching on :p

  18. if you're referring to the consumer price index, thats just a way of measuring inflation.

For wages to be increased, business need to spend more money, so there either has to be a greater monetary base, or incentives for business to expand.

Money doesnt just go POOF and its there...its like a see-saw. Trying to find the fulcrum point is hard with millions of variables.

  19. Next youll tell me corrupt bankers = capitalism

And yet over the past few years weve seen almost a 50% increase in food prices but not a 50% increase in wages

Do you buy your own food and pay your own bills? How long have you been doing so?
