make sure your lights are between 2-4 inches away since youre using cfls. no more than 6in away. way too early to tell if male or female. honestly youll be able to tell probably in a month or so.
May i suggest watering the whole medium and not just around the plant. If you let parts of the soil dry out or not drip through the bottom the soil will dry out and will reject absorbing water after a while. After soil goes dry it is alot of work to effectively re-saturate it. But never the less good luck with your grow! Subbed will be interesting
