  1. Simply post an image, go ahead and scour the net.  Chances are, i'll know what it is.

just post an image of an insect/arachnid/mammal/amphibian, etc.

if you're afraid I will cheat, change the filename, and re-upload the new version and post it here.

Doesnt matter what part of the world it's from, chances are I'll know.  So go ahead.. post them!

(good opportunity to learn what that mystery insect or spider you found a while back was!)

  2. lol, blue footed boobies..

  3. How about insects?

  8. Alaus oculatus - 'Eyed elater'.  They're giant click beetles.  their larvae are predatory.  they frequent rotting softwood.

  9.
    Its a potoo bird

They imitate sticks for camouflage (realy,. I'm not making this shit up, ask David Attenbourough if you don't believe me)

  10. Ah you asshole you owned me.    But i was very close so it wasnt a total loss.  both potoos and frogmouths are very close relatives.  nightjars and poor-wills are north american representatives of this family, and behave very similarly.

  13. That's an adult Phidippus audax eating a harvestman.  As the body of the harvestman is obscured i have no option but to guess it's a phalangium species.

Ohh, damn you guys are good.  I have no idea what that frog is, other than some sort of treefrog.

  14.

I have no idea which species, but I'm sure there's an emerald ash borer in that collection, haha
