    We get them here in the desert too. We call them silverfish.

    I didn't know I could feed them to my fish, though I assumed any insects are fair game.

    My brother in law catches crickets and moths for his Oscar

    No, silverfish are insects.  Sea-roaches are actually marine woodlice, they're crustaceans.

    My bad, I totally forgot about this.  Well, judging by the appearance, this is obviously a sphinx caterpillar of some sort..  which species, I unfortunately don't know.  Sorry :\\
