      Hi All,

I am running an aeroponics/NFT pvc 4" tubes with no media. I am also using RO water. Last week I transplanted the veg plants into the flowering tent and continued to veg them for the last week to get them up to size. I will continue to veg  them until they are up to size to flower. My issue is the current appearance of the plants. In their veg chamber, the first 2 pics (x2 250W hps + 160W daylight fluorescents) , the plants' leaves were green and upright. The EC of my nutes is 0.8-1.0 and the pH is kept around 5.8-6.0, resivoir temp right around 68F. Misters are running 1 minute on 4 minutes off for a half hour each hour. After transplanting to the flowering tent, the leaves began to yellow slightly, while curling downward and also lost their leaf shine. The flowering tent environment is 72F/40% RH days, 64F/75% nights with vented lights.  Some of the worst leaves have brown spotting, almost like a Ca deficiency. Would moving the plants under more intense light cause this? If so, when will they bounce back? Do I need to increase nutrients for the increase in light intensity? I am concerned that this is the start of a deficiency. I am still using the same nutrient recipe that I was for the veg tent. I am supplementing cal-mag plus at the rate of 3mL/gallon. Should I up the rate of cal-mag or should I up the EC overall? Growth does not seem as rapid, yet the plants seem to be fairly healthy. The leaves are wet in the pictures because they looked dry and I misted them with a foliar feed of Cal-Mag, with little to no improvement. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  2. it sounds to me lie you need to up your nutes! I run them kinda low till roots get settled.
Then I aim for an ppm of 11oo. any higher is rough. plus  or minus 1000 ppm seems to work well. you CAN starve them  with the super fast system you have. I flush every week, generally I bump up the nutes when ppm gets down below 600 ppm , unless its teh day before flush. use Reverse
you must change to a bloom formula when you change teh lights to 12/12.
smart to add teh CalMag! its much needed!
I use teh General Hydroponics Flora bloom & Flora micro & the  Lucas 2 part formula. perfect ph everytime.
temps all sound normal. bloom cycle needs as much light as possible. must be  sodium bulb , lots of red & yellow of the spectrum to promote those fat sticky gurls!
    luck,
     Slag
