My dealer said he needed a ride somewhere and in exchange he gave me a gram of honey oil. He put it in foil and it was kind of a hot day out. Needless to say the oil got kind of melty/messy in the foil on a hot day. Well, I was daydrunk and my friend (who was not drunk) and supposedly smokes tons of oil was looking at the oil and complaining that the foil was making it difficult to take out. I told her we should freeze it before fucking with it but like I said I was drunk so I wasn't paying much attention to what she was doing. Well, the next day rolls around and I take one look at the oil and she totally fucked it up trying to fix it. The oil and foil have basically combined into one unsmokeable clump of shit and there are chunks of foil mixed into the oil now. She's my best friend and I don't want to make her feel bad, but she totally fucked up my oil and didn't even offer to get me more or apologize. Actually she hasn't even admitted it was her fault, she blamed the dealer for putting it in foil (which is pretty common?) What should I do???
let it be, its not a big deal. you received that oil for helping out a friend, would you not have helped them otherwise? furthermore your friend is right, a respectable dealer would have used parchment or glass to store bho, not aluminum foil.

Yeah I'll just let it go. I did drive him quite far at a time I was already pretty broke which is why the oil was a key part of the whole thing lol but I'll survive
Warm it up and take the foil out. Obviously not in the microwave. Maybe put the foil on a Pyrex dish and put it in the oven at a really low temp and keep checking it. Then just pick out the pieces... Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

You can maybe salvage it by popping it in the oven on a baking pan (no higher than 200F) and pull out the pieces of foil with tweezers or something. But that sounds risky to me. Let her know she fucked up, don't let her hold your shit again and just move on. If she's like most people she'll refuse to accept responsibility, but whatever. Up to you to decide if that's a dealbreaker or not.

Slightly on topic, why is it so bad to store oil on foil? Are stoners superstitious against rhymes? Haven't had the pleasure to smoke any yet, I would've thought foil and parchment could be used interchangeably. What makes foil such a poor choice?
