What a bad move on Sledgehammer's part. That's ok looks like I'll save $60 this year. I said it be for Lol they are goin down hill with all the stupid shit their putting in these games ex. Micheal Myers, Predator, Snoop Dogg voice pack like really? and the list gets longer. Now this Advance Warfare has Actor's in the story? They sure are shitting the bed right now thats for sure.
What's wrong with actors in the story? To me it can only make the campaign that much better, more compelling. maybe sledgehammer is going to make a great campaign that usually gets ignored in multiplayer heavy games. I was looking forward to the announcement of the next COD since I haven't played a new one since I skipped the last two or three. I might rent it but I don't have too much interest in near future FPS.
The singleplayer looks SICK! Definitely topping the list for rental games. Most shooters don't have decent stories that some of the Call of Duty's have; I think it's worth it for a solid month. And this is coming from a guy that stopped playing video games two years ago entirely; might pick up an Xbox One to literally just play for a month or two. $ $ $
I'm tryin to think of something to say but I can't. Yes addin Kevin Spacey in it would make the campaign better, but it doesn't help the fact that CoD is dieing. Here's the time line from mw3(until January 21st 2017) Black ops 2(until June 19th 2026) Ghost(July 8th, 2017 until July 5th, 2027) and now Advance warfare? (2027 to what 2037). They've ran modern/future warfare to the ground.Thats weak sauce, I'll go ahead and say it for the third time

I agree with you that COD is getting stale, that's why I skipped a couple. But it's not going to die...this will be the best selling game this year. Maybe going back to WWII or Vietnam could help since there's an entire generation of gamers who haven't gotten to play those games that we did growing up. I think they need to do it differently though. I don't wat to be the allies storming Normandy on DDAY again. Let me play as the bad guys. Let me be the Vietnam soldiers or play a the Germans trying to stop the allied invasion. Or even have a modern warfare game where we play as the enemy trying to stop the Americans (or maybe the British, since they would never make a game like that). Change it up a bit and being some new life to these games.
Call Of Duty knows exactly what they're doing. They know who usually buys their games (kids between 13-17 usually) and they know kids don't wanna see old stuff. They're doing this future tech stuff for the glamour. Kids are gonna see it and they're gonna be like "Oh wow, look at all that cool stuff." Bam. Instant sales. Then they put in Kevin Spacey to attract the old player who just love it for the single player campaign. (Usually 24-29 years old.) You know how some people think great actor, great movie? Well those people are probably thinking great actor, great campaign. I think this games gonna be big.
World at war was one of the best especially blowing off people's arms and legs with the trench gun .... Liked how you actually had to aim cause most guns were bolt action .... .. I lost interest when mw3 came out even bought the season pass cause I thought it was the maps I didn't like ... Imma get hate for this, but I loved MW3. Just saying. Also didn't like Bo2 multiplayer to much, but loved the campaign.
