In order to lower the plants a little and to let all the plants have some even light I will be doing some Supercropping on them in the next few days, I will post some pics afterwards. I still have to take away a few males (Im guessing) that havent showed sex. Any questions, ideas, comments or whatever are welcome and appreciated!!
In fact, there are a couple of autos from Shaman Genetics (never tried them before) in the grow (pics), one Its already in flower looking pretty nice and the other one is just starting veg stage; but interesting enough, some of the plants that came in from the mix are in full flower as well, so they probably have some rudelaris genes in the mix, I will take this in account for the breeding. I think I might use my male sativa to pollinate one the rudelaris in flower.
So here is the update!! I supercropped my biggest plants and they all look even now, they should get even sunlight by now. It looks a little like an outdoor sog lol So for now I fimmed them and supercropped, its the first time I do them together with such a short time between each other, so I want to see the results of it, hopefully I wont have some stress problems. Any opinions are more than welcome!
Here is the update!! Ok, so I pollinated three of my plants, the auto from shaman, and my best sativa and best indica females, the little flowers are already puffing up, so I will get some seeds for sure!!! I gave them some a complete balanced NPK + micronutrients so they have all they need to produce them healthy seeds and of course some sweet bud!! I did the process as clean as possible but I am expecting some unwanted sex with some of my girls lol Lots of nice flowers coming up, as I anticipated I have a huge mix of genes, they are just starting to flower and I already can see and smell many differences, I already have a couple of favorites, including the fastest purple (since the first week of flower it was purple already) and a couple of nice hybrids. ANY kind of comment is appreciated!!
Here is the rest of the flower porn! They are some that just smell sooo good, a few purps here and there, and a few pure sativas witch I think is awesome... And well they are looking good, I started upping the dose on P and K and lowering N. Everything looks good so far but its has been raining a lot, I hope the babes make it ok. Some of the seeds are starting to show very nicely, I did get some pollen contamination but just a little and its ok, I will label and keep the best seeds. I hate hermies, I had 3 or 4 beautiful plants but they were hermies and I had to get rid of them. Do you guys think some sort of stress caused it or it was just genetics? Thanks in advance!
I would say genetics since you are basically using bag seed from pressed weed. Nice looking plants BTW
I stop this thread because I kind of freaked out, but figured out that will always happen while you are growing outdoors, they can steal your plants, call the police or whatever... Its just not safe anymore. If anybody has questions I will gladly awnser them, In the end I got about half a pound of all kinds of weed and I also got seed from the hybrids I made, so all of my goals were achieved.
In the end I had 28 or 30 plants to harvest, lot of hermies and the rains came in, I have to admit I was a little dissapointed...
The first thing is your pots are way 2 small. Second under no circumstances do you ever plant multiple plants in the same pot. My thoughts are if your not going to do it right, dont do it at all. But realistically we all do the best with what we have. Third, I could see by the pictures they weren't getting enough light, shaded, they looked stretched and spindley. Bigger pots, more soil, more sun light with a minimum of 8 hours of direct sunlight a day, one plant per pot. if your growing for smoke and for seeds you need 2 separate crops 2 separate locations. Noone wants bud full of seeds, thats dirt weed where im from. If your growing properly you should see a pound a plant at least a half a pound dry, but again genetics are a huge factor and realistically the genetics your getting from that bag weed is probably pretty brate to start with
