The zip ties on top are just tight enough so I can adjust it and make the holes bigger or smaller I only tightened the frame of this
Probably no comments because this sub forum doesn't get much traffic..but it looks awesome. Good job I made my scrog with zip ties too, but out of a storage thing - http://www.amazon.com/Whitmor-6070-1723-Storage-Cubes-Black/dp/B000LRBSFI/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1398808426&sr=8-7&keywords=storage+cube
Solid idea I like it seems cheap too I'm always checking out Scrogs to see what everyone uses for a screen and let me tell you I think I found a winner. Looks good Seems easily adjustable Easy to make Cheap to build And best of all I like bamboo Plus when not in use cut off zip ties Toss them in a tube stow away in a corner and you can rebuild and reuse it multiple times +2 points for your idea
Will remind members of the torture trials of many POW's from the Vietnam war .lol Bamboo growing thru your neck?
It works well mell thanks! Glad I could share an idea here Sent from my XT907 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Well done..I was lazy n just went n bought some metal fencing was about 10$. I like the look of the bamboo tho much more pleasing to the eye.
i think you lost the point of the SCRoG at some point here.. looks like it way out grew your screen or you lost control, but your supposed to keep the canopy even so the light spread is even. Gotta keep weaving the plants, its almost like a poor mans MAINLINE, Lots of over growth, tones of fan leaves that could have been trimmed. Next time move the screen a bit higher don't let the plants stretch as much (move the light closer) and weave baby weave. In a SCRoG you want all the nodes to get equal light those branches in the center should have been weaved outwards to the sides (i get the screens run out of room and such but its better to have the over growth on the outsides) That one big bud in the middle hogged alot of the light the rest of you plants could have used.. Also another good tip is trimming, Lollipoping w.e you choose to call it.. Your feeding fan leaves, as your flower stage starts Strip all the low leaves even low above the Screen since your screen is getting zero light anyways, As the flower stage is ending you can start cutting more and more off slowly every couple days as not to stress the plant...IF they are getting light leave them, if not they are usless and just taking energy away from buds. Same gose for those little tiny "popcorn" buds ditch em early in the bloom and all that growth goes to the big buds.
