    Hey there guys!

So me and my fiance have started growing on our own, and we have barely started our first grow.

We have already germinated our seeds using the paper towel method and keeping them warm with a heating pad, and all 6 pop with their taproot in less than 24 hours. So very successful there!

We are using 100% perlite as we are following a guide on here about mediums and how they recommended it as the top medium.

We planted them last night, and I'm concerned about how much water to initially water them, and how much they would need, considering the perlite soaks up the water.

As well as how much nutes to give them and how often.

If I could get more exact measurements, or say soak the perlite with water, or something along those lines, that would be extremely helpful!

And about how long should I wait to see them sprout?

    Thank you guys! :)

  2. First off, congrats on starting your first grow! Now for the watering, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to perlite as I use hydroton. But there is a few things left to know. What is your setup... dwc, rdwc, ebb and flo, or just plain old soil pots...etc. that would be a little easier to help with the watering situation. For the nutes, I don't recommend using any until about second week of life. What is your water source, do you have a ppm meter and something to measure pH with?
They should sprout within a few days.
