How Much Does The Word dro Aggravate You?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by ReturnFire333, Apr 24, 2014.

  1. On a scale of 1-10

I know many people on here have a pet peeve, because there is no way to know if weed is hy"dro" or not unless you know the grower.

  2. Doesn't bother me, unless, like you said, it's not hydroponically grown, and it's mids being labeled as "dro".  :hide:

  3. It doesn't, inform the ones who aren't aware of it.

  4. not at all when used in the correct context

<<<<<---------- got that dro, bro :bongin:

  5.
When people say dro as a name for what seems to be good pot (not mids) I guess is what annoys some people.

  6. Yeah when people are like "I got that dro man!" when referring to dank weed, I'm just like, "dro is a way to grow, and it can be grown like shit of grown amazing....."
I don't really get irritated by it, but it's just like come on.

I smoke on 1/5. I was always taught to reduce fractions.

  7. Doesn't bother me, even though people usually don't use it in the right context, i still know that they just mean good weed. Although i don't hear it very much, i imagine if i heard it all the time it would piss me off.

  8. Dro irritates me more than any other term. Too many people call dank buds "dro"
Pisses me off because "dro" really is hydroponic buds

  9. aww jeez the dro debate lol. it dont bother me one fucking bit. ill say it to piss people off ahaha but whenever i heard someone i just spark up a convo with the peyson and explain....haah. got some killa dro mannnnng,

  10. Depends, somone tells me dro in nj it means not good, how that came along im clueless lol so id say a6

  11. 9/10 when people use it incorrectly to mean good/nug/dank instead of hydroponically grown (which is rarely ever the case) and trying to correct them just isn't worth it. These people will go to hell and back defending their bud and how wrong you are.

  12. On a scale of 1-the term Loud

the term dro aggravates me a level 1. :D

  13. I can understand how "dro" can be iratating to most but what iratates me is when people get aggrevated at those who use the slang term "loud" because as far as I'm concerned it's no different than one using the term "dank" in a sense of referancing how potent a certain strain of cannabis is (as long as neither of those terms is used to group all strains together [like how dealers will call all their potent strains kush. Now that's infuriating!] I'm cool with it and believe the majority should be to).

  14. "dro"   goes beyond 10...probably equal with people that

people who use "dro" just make it really easy to tell that they, in fact, don't know the first thing about quality marijuana....or just marijuana in general.

plus the cannoisseur would typically lean towards the organic-soil grown form my experience.

  15. I don't get pissed, I just educate them that dro refers to hydroponic growing, not quality of cannabis. If they tell you are wrong and dro means good bud, then get annoyed haha...

Too many shitty things in the world to get pissed at little things like that for me :bongin:

  16. Not as much as loud or sesh

  17. its the same thing when people say "all i smoke is loud" wtf is loud!

  18. loud has no 2 meanings when refrencing pot... just means high quality... now as kush and dro are both being used wrong.. kush being a strain, and dro= growing techniche..

  19. It's a red-flag to me that this is somebody that I don't want to associate with. Low-info people like that are useful in the same way that cattle and horses are useful, but not for discussion or friendship. (unless you like getting aggravated)

When dealing with low-info types, never try to correct them unless they show a willingness to learn.
