I am going to be planting 2 auto Northern Lights seeds very soon and I was wondering what soil mix to use. I went on to conclude that I wanted to use an organic soil-less mix. I am planning to use 60% peat moss, 30% perlite and 10% epsom salt or should I just do 70% peat moss and 30% perlite?
I grow auto's and currently use fox farm ocean forest/happy frog soil with 50% chunky perlite in smart pots. I ready the pot by watering until some run off about 5 to 6 hours before planting my germinated seed. My grows are stong and yield good results. I love auto's. If you grow with led lights, be sure to mix in a tablespoon of dolomite lime per gallon pot size.
