Im broke as a joke but next month im getting a large sum of money in the mail. I need $300 for personal reasons. Anyone ever get a loan?
Loans for an amount like that, you'll probably be hitting up a quick cash place where you'll have super high interest rates. For instance, check out this article about a $300 payday loan. In that instance, you'll be paying them $60 on top of the $300 you borrowed, and that's only if you pay it off within two weeks. If you add another two weeks, now you're paying them a total of $420 for the $300 you borrowed. And that's only one example, you could encounter much higher interest rates.
Yeah, those places exist because they prey on poor people who need cash fast. You'd need a job to get a payday loan anyway. Without a job, you have even less options and possibly higher interest rates. There are car title loans where you'd give the title of your car as collateral, assuming it's paid off or worth more than you owe. Some credit cards do cash advances, with high interest rates. Some pawn shops will loan you a portion of what a collateral item is worth. There really aren't any options that don't end in being royally screwed.
Not if its cash. I'm in canada and they have mushroom farms that will pay you to pick mushrooms (actual mushrooms). A lot of ghetto construction companies will also hire (mainly for demolition cleanup) general labour cash. Or you can sell drugs whatever floats ops boat.
Loans are not worth it man. Im positive you have unused video games and jewlery sitting around at home. As a drug addict you become very resourceful for cash.... and after I ran out of those items I got a loan / credit card. I'm in debt now. Do not get a loan unless for a car or home. If you really needed $300 you wouldn't be wasting time askin a bunch of random stoners for advice lol
Do NOT do the car title loan!!! I read some real bad articles about them paying the minimum then it getting so high the next month and almost made it impossible to pay off so the car was taken. It was sad. Ask a family member for a loan? Idk I'd never do a friend but if I know I will pay it back it won't be a big deal especially only 300
Why not ask a friend in which you have mutual trust with for the loan, and explain to him what you've explained to us? That way you won't have some shady business or banker crawling down your spine.
Yeah, frankly I wouldn't recommend any of the quick loan options. Those places only exist to prey on desperate people, so none of them are going to give you anything less than a "bend over and take it in the ass" deal.
Posts like these make me happy I've networked and surrounded myself with people I can fall to in times of need. My best friends mom gave me $400 to help me pay rent a few months back. Took me about a month but I paid her back interest free Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Finmmmn
