This just came out so I thought I'd share it. The kid selling it got the marijuana from his grandparents when they left it out in the open where it was accessible to him. When are these stupid parents gonna get it through their heads that they need to lock up the bud or edibles that they buy like they would with their guns, prescriptions, or alcohol? We wouldn't be having these issues that make legalization look bad if they just used some common sense.

  4. Sad that grown ass adults dont have the common sense to hide their stash around kids, that kid made 11 bucks and gave the legalization effort a good kick in the balls for the rest our states

I love what the note the principal sent out said:

'This drug is potentially lethal to children...'

How many tens of thousand of children are brought into the ER for acetaminophen poisoning each year? And yet somehow these news agencies all seem to glob onto these insignifigant 'stories' like flies on shit...Sloppy journalism, through and through.

Since when do 4th graders have disposable income? And the whole lethal to children thing is a little overkill.

  8. Jennifer Sheldon wrote to the elementary school families. “This drug is potentially lethal to children, and should always be kept under lock and key, away from young people.”

Hahahahaha, yes, this drug is extremely lethal as a matter of a fact. Thousands die every year from alchohol and cigarettes but this is very lethal to children. Hilarious

  10. I still belive it should be kept away from your young kids, would you want a infant chewing on a nugget? why not keep it under lock and key as a responsible "Grown Ass Adult"

sorry for repost I managed to rape the qoute twice :/

  11. i thought that letter was very well written until the lethal to children part.. smdh.. so fkn stupid..

  12. Well I'd say nothing less if we're talking about, what, eight year olds?
Lethal in the sense that this path will get them killed with choices like these. And we don't know the detrimental health consequences of smoking marijuana at such an extremely young (and developing) age. No study can prove that otherwise at least.

  13. Cannabis is not lethal to anyone, anywhere in the history of the world.

Anyone know a study that has proved cannabis to detrimentally affect cognitive development? So far it's all hypothetical- the dangers to children.

As an antioxidant, free radical scavenger etc it can't simultaneously boost brain health and development while detracting from it. The high effects are also able to be mitigated; via high CBD strains with reduced THC.

Of course we should keep it out of their hands until they're of age.. But we should see if there's any real truth to cannabis being dangerous to children. We know the medical strengths of it are treating many children as we speak.

  14. Man this is really gonna look bad for the pro-legalization side. 😠😠😠 come on Colorado. The rest of the U.S is depending on you, don't fuck this up.

  15. Looks like it happened a 2nd time in the same school.

    Looking good co.

GREELEY, COLO. – Several elementary school students in Colorado were suspended Tuesday after school officials discovered they were selling and trading stolen, loose-leaf marijuana and edible forms of the drug at school.

"Over the past two days, we have had two separate incidents of students bringing marijuana into our school, both in the form of loose-leaf marijuana and an edible form of the drug," Jennifer Sheldon, principal of Montfort Elementary School, wrote in a letter to parents.
On Monday, a fourth-grade student brought loose-leaf marijuana to school and sold it to three other students, reports KUSA-TV.
One of the students who purchased pot brought a marijuana edible to school the following day and gave it to the kid who initially sold him loose-leaf pot, according to school officials.
The drug deal was exposed by yet another student who told a teacher. According to school officials, the students stole it from their grandparents who didn't lock it up.
None of the kids where charged, however the students involved have been suspended.
At the school district's request, the grandparents will not be charged either. Instead, they're hoping this will serve as a warning to any adult who consumes marijuana.

  16. Don't fuck this up you dumb asses

  17. You can't blame all of CO for these people's stupidity, and have you ever been to Greeley? it's the true shit hole of the state, but marijuana sure didn't need anymore bad publicity.

  18. Looks like the candies will be gone soon.

  19. Legalization didn't cause the kids to sell weed. Kids in non-legal states also find and bring weed to school.

  20. better than some kid taking a knife and stabbing 20 people.

fuck it, lets all go get stoned :hippie:
