Old Liquid Fertilizer... Still Good?

  1. Alright, first post. I'm in the process of starting my first grow. An outdoor grow. I'm kinda on a budget, so I want to save money where I can. In my basement, I found some Ortho-Gro Liquid Plant Food 12-6-6, and I'm only guessing here, but I'm gonna say its anywhere from 5-10 years old. They're still sealed and have been stored on a shelf in the back of the basement, and I was wondering if it's still good to use for my plants. And also, I don't really know much about fertilizing, when could I start using it on my plants? And how often.

  2. Fertilizer is probably the most important part of an outdoor grow. I would just look into buying some new stuff.

  3. use it. if you have good soil you wont need it anyway.
