So its been about 2 days or so and this sprout wont stand up. Its still hooked over like a newly popped seed. Think it will at some point straighten up or is this plant going to croak at some point??? Havnt had this problem before
Mine started off like that, just use a small cocktail stick and tie some string around it, works well
I had a 6 day old sprout whose stem wouldn't support it. I just let it be the start of LST and it grew out just fine. Here is a link to a pic: http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1135614-airf0nz0-pineapple-chunk.html?p=16373990
Im refering to a new sprouted seed. You know how the hook once they pop soil before standing straight up Mine is still hooked and wont straighten up
germination's complex so it could be a number of things. my bet's on too much moisture during germination. they come up looking a but limp with purpling at the stem like they said prop the stem up so leaves are open to light, and give em 18/6 or 20/4 to recover
I fill my solo cups about 60% full and add soil to bury the stem as it grows and get stocky looking little girls that way. floros 2 inches away helps.
are the leaves being held together by the membrane thing? if that happens you put a drop on it from your finger to let it soak and get soft...then take a toothpick and gently pull it off the leaves..if thats not it maybe you need more light...pics help
I think that was it mate. I looked closer at just noticed the shell was still hanging onto it not letting it open. So i plucked it off. So ill check it again tonight and tomorrow
