I recently purchased the mobius strato with matrix perc. It is very important to me to keep the tube clean. However, I do not like the idea of using rubbing alcohol and salt, because I do not want to be shaking around the matrix perc inside the piece too much. Any other ideas on how to clean it?
If you are that worried about shaking it(im sure it would be fine) you could just let it submerge in alcohol/salt overnight and that should do the trick. Then just rinse it with water.

You don't have to worry about the matrix perc breaking off inside the piece from shaking it. Ain't gonna happen. You have more of a chance of it breaking by it falling out of your hands while shaking it, or it bumping into something as you shake. Just always take your time! There are other shake and break cleaners, like formula 420, rezinate, orange chronic, and many others. Since you wish to keep it clean, that means cleaning it routinely. And you'll spend a fortune using those cleaners routinely. So I would look into grundge off or pbw. At night, fill it up and let it soak, then in the morning pour it out and rinse. I would also look into having a second bowl if you plan on keeping your bowls clean as well. You can tag team a bowl in once one is being cleaned.
I would recommend a carbon catch + regular cleaning with a chemical solution ( any of the ones listed above). I love mine, some people don't like the added drag but i don't care about no drag. I have never iso'd my piece, just used a carbon catch + soap and water.
