i just read an entire article on it and i am unbelievably shocked. theres some seriously fucked up shit on the "internet" and i just think of how theres things that i just read that dont even compare to the average first world problems. scary shit 🌞

Most of the things I want to know I can usually find in a quick search or very little digging to separate facts from bullshit. I've always assumed you can find whatever answers you are looking for, just takes a little searching and asking the "right" questions in the right places. Some things I just don't want to know or care about.
When a house gets raided, you quit buying from that house. I never used it, knew it was going to go the same way as the rest...99% of the internet can be viewed by the right eyes, the other 1% is owned by those people.

i felt less watched buying stuff from a private forum on the regular internet tbh. its good that deepweb markets exist, but i myself would not use. too familiar with the postal service to order non gray area stuff.
I got to the part of the article where it talked about hiring a hit man and I knew I was out of my depth (pun intended). I'll stick to the monitored part of the internet. Some things cannot be unseen and I don't want to go down that road. ::shudder:: Not my cup of tea.
People don't go to the deepweb to hire hitmen people mostly go there to buy drugs. The hitman part of the story was just blown out of proportion because it was the website owner that ordered the hit on a hacker that threatened to expose all of the silk road members information if he didn't give him $500,000. That's the part of the story most articles aren't telling. I'll find the link to the original story that was posted about silk road.

this. the deepweb is almost exclusively for buying illegal drugs. and viewing childporn. but mostly the drugs. i seriously doubt a hitman has ever been hired over the deepweb. the hitman sites are a fucking joke if you look at them. its like if 4chan had a /hitman/
