So I came home today and my Dinafem blue Kush is all droopy. She is only about 9 days since I germinated her and she was crushing now she had slowed down growth and is starting to droop. My temps are 75 with 35% humidity I know the humidity is low could that be the reason for the doing leaves. I am giving it phd ro water with like 5 ml of hydroguard. I to waste 1-2times a day till I ser roots coming out of the net pot. Sent from my SM-N900V using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Too much light and/or water. Seedlings want very little light for the first two weeks or so. Do you use rockwool? If so you should prob only water once a day, the medium needs to just be slightly damp.
I use rapid rooters I have the light way up in the tent Sent from my SM-N900V using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Didn't have a ton of early growth on my LEDs either, switch to ~50-60 watts of CFL. You can buy a single 8" 50w CFL bulb to hang over a plant and will be good for at least first two weeks, then switch on the LED and do both for another few weeks before switching to all LED.
They had tons of roots coming out so I figured I should guess I was wrong so what would you suggest to maybe help fix the problem Sent from my SM-N900V using Grasscity Forum mobile app
it will probably be ok, just water from the top, just plain water no nutes until you see good growth. in future let them get taller before putting in the pots. definetly not a humidity problem
OK I have been to watering but growth still is super slow I always have this problem. My seedlings are starting to look a little two I will take pics when I get home from work this Afternoon Sent from my SM-N900V using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Could it be caused by my ph going up to 6.8 the other night and I top watered it with it like that could it have shocked it just thought about that. I have been checking it since the other day and adjust it to 5.8 now before I top water. Hourly it helps because growth has stopped and now my first set of real leaves are starting to yellow Sent from my SM-N900V using Grasscity Forum mobile app
when plants are that young most all of their energy is used to develop a root system, so yes topside growth will be slow
I had the same thing pull the net pot out and put the bottom half of a cut 2 liter bottle over it for a humidity dome wait a couple of days and it will perk up. Then put it back in the system but keep the done on for a day or two while it adjusts. It worked very well for me anyways. Sent from my LG-LS840 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
