Grow Light Advice

  1. Just hoping for some grow light advice here. Not looking for a drawn-out discussion, just want to know what is best for growing a variety of fragrant flowering plants from seed to bloom, and I assume you guys have expertise there ;)

So the single light purchase needs to be good for growing these plants from seeds, and producing large numbers of fragrant blooms. My flowers indicate they require "full sun" growing conditions, and I'm interested in doing a small indoor grow.

As one final requirement, I want my grow light to be a LED! Here are the three I am considering:

    California Lightworks SolarFlare 220 "FullCycle"

    Apache Tech AB120RB

    Lush Lighting Lumenator 2x

Which ones are best? Are there any that are particularly great products, or particularly shoddy products? Apache Tech is apparently a NASA contractor, which makes me think they might be more credible. On the other hand, Lush seems to offer more data about their LEDs on their website than the others, and lots of people seem to say good things about California lightworks.

    Budget: 400$-800$

    What should I get?

  2. Check out Solistek..they are due to be releasing a new led in the next few months..it has interchangable chips so you can tweak your spectrum in your room..www.solis-tek.com I think its called the HiLed or something like that..

  3. I would suggest checking out Intelligent Gro LED. I am currently using them and they are awesome. The are whisper quite when running, and come with a custom controller in which you can program your spectrum output. Lets say you are in early veg/clone stage and don't need 100% intensity. Intelligent Gro allows you to dim the panel and save on electricity. The custom controller also allows you to dial in the color channel ratios so lets say you have a very stretchy strain you want to tighten up, no problem, just take the controller and turn down the red channels intensity or ramp up the blue.

This light is awesome and I love the direction this company is going with fully programmable lights. Take a look at my journal if you want to see how they are performing!
