Help With Nutrients

  1. Just ordered biobizz grow, bloom and topmax. Would you recommend any others to use aswell?
Was thinking about advanced nutrients big bud

  2. A lot of people on here are advanced nutrients fanatics. Same with fox farms trio. I've recently started using rock nutrients with excellent results so far.

  3. If you have the money I'd say go for it. Nutes are nutes. Personally, I mix my own soil and add different components that will achieve the correct amount of nutes so all I have to do is water with clean water and monitor my plant's health. 3 months in and plants are looking healthier than ever. Just follow the directions, it's better to underfeed than to overfeed

  4. Over feeding was what I was worried about, not sure if using the three biobizz plus big bud would be too much. How docyou mix you own soil? Do you have a recipe or link for one? Would prefer organic if possible

  5. This is my soil recipie:

I start with 60/40 coir/peat moss as the bulk of the soil. I then add gypsum, vermiculite, and perlite, around 30% each. Then I had a couple handfuls of worm castings, bloodmeal, diatomaceous earth (powder) and bone meal. It gives excellent drainage and aeration, as well as providing all the macro and micro nutrients your plant will need. It'll cost you more than buying a bag of premade soil, but this way you can add whatever nutes you want to the soil to balance it out, plus those bags will last you quite a long time. This plant has been vegging for three months and I don't use any fertilizer, just my fortified soil and clean water. No deficiencies as of yet.
