First of all, let me begin by saying that I am in no way an apprentice smoker. The only reason I posted in this section was because I believe that the question I am asking is an apprentice question. I have been smoking for about 6 years now. I know weed very well and I know the high that weed of all different strains and strengths can give me. I have tried everything weed related, from bud to dabs to thc pills to cannabis drinks. Yesterday was 4/20. Living in California, I followed a tradition that many partake in. I made my way to hippie hill in San Francisco to celebrate. There were tons of people there selling weed and edibles. The prices were incredibly cheap. I met a guy while rolling up a joint and we talked for a bit. He told me he was selling joints for a dollar each. Considering he looked a lot less sketchy then most of the people there, I figured sure why not. The price was also not as ridiculous as it sounds, because there were other people selling 2 or 3 joints for $5 and etc... I smoked a joint and I felt high. The high was like a normal high but yet so much better. It was amazing. Just pure bliss. It is hard to describe the way I felt. I've never felt this way from weed before. It was like the perfect high. The problem is that the joints are kind of strange. They smell a little strange and very strongly. They also taste a little badly, like glue or something. I talked to my friend who had also gone to hippie hill and he told me he had also bought from that guy. He said the joints got him that same amazing high and that it felt too good to be weed. The problem is that I still have 2 joints left and I am unsure if it is safe to smoke them. I would also like to know what it is that me and my friends have been smoking just out of personal curiosity. Of course my first reaction was to unwrap a joint and look at the weed inside. The weed looks normal but really white. Like more then trichomes. It seems to be covered in white spots or something. I would take a picture but my camera is not good enough to take a good picture of something so small. I read something about weed being laced with a substance called raid which makes you have very good, euphoric highs, but can cause permanent brain damage. I was wondering if anybody could inform me if maybe this is the case. I am also thinking that because of all the white spots it might be laced with a powder that is unmentionable on this forum. I really would like help as soon as possible on this matter. It is really bugging me as to what I have been smoking. Cuz I feel like there's something up with this weed but I have no idea what. And I have yet to experience any side effects aside from experieincing a better high then usual.
I'm not sure about Raid or other chemicals, but for $1, I can say that your weed was not laced with other unmentionables, especially for that price. A gram of a certain white powdery substance is significantly more expensive than weed and the guy would only be losing money if he laced it with that. Although may have a sick sense of humor and had some extra unmentionables laying around said fuck it. My real guess is that it's probably mold. If you had a few ounces of weed that had mold on it, chances are people won't buy it. Sell it in joints and people don't know what they're buying. Sure he may be losing money, but he's making the most from his loses in a morally wrong way. However, I don't know if that would explain the more euphoric high. The euphoria can be from a variety of factors, such as a different method of toking, a different setting, a recent break, a different type of weed, etc. I smoke on 1/5. I was always taught to reduce fractions.
Naa I mean he definitely wasn't doing it for the profit, but he might just be doing to fuck with ppl. idk. I don't think it's mold however cuz mold makes ur lungs feel shitty afterwards and gives you kind of a shitty high. This weed just made me feel tired that day and the next day. but that might just be lack of sleep as well.
Well I'd throw out the rest if you're not sure about them. Better safe than sorry! Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much. It's not as if you're going to become an instant addict, or instantly melt your brain from one taste of an unmentionable, even the worst ones out there (my best guess would be something that starts with an H). Even if it was this "raid" shit you're talking about (to be honest I've never even heard of it), I doubt you're going to have serious consequences for ingesting a small amount once. And, I mean dude, all that said, it's extremely unlikely. The weed was already cheap as shit. Who gives away free drugs? In reality, you probably just got a really strong strain, of something you're just not experienced with. Different THC to cannabanoid ratio perhaps? The strains out there are infinite. You couldn't possibly have tried them all.
Shit man. If youre really unsure about them just throw them away its two dollars gone and buy some better weed if you feel you need it. I said do you speak my language, he just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich. I come from the land down under.
Look it's def not a name brand unmentionable or else you would be hallucinating or seriously mindfucked. What it could be is some super cheap, super dangerous household-chem type shit he could have just put on there. But 95% chance it's just weed. I once had the same experience with some weed that was normal the next time I smoked it I would say smoke another joint and see if the effects are the same.
