My Pax Vaporizer Stopped Working? Will The Warranty Accept?

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by Tastyblunt7, Apr 21, 2014.

  1. You have to hold the mouth piece to the left perfectly just to  get the oven on. I figured if i cleaned it and called pax? idk how the warranty works (i think they make it confusing on purpose lol). But yea the pax pretty much doesnt work and i want a new one. I have a 10 year warranty too so yeah haha.
\nAnyone ever return a pax using the warranty?
    \nThanks

    \n  - You're not famous.
    \n B) -Fuck you.
\n\n\nI worried mostly because the warranty says this
\n"The Limited Warranty does not apply to normal performance degradation of batteries or neglecting to adhere tocleaning instructions. -

  2. i.e...you abused it, didn't care for it, you know it, and yet, want a free replacement...

you already know your chances of the mfg honoring the 'voided' warranty it seems...

  3. Its crazy that not cleaning is considered abuse. I mean how fragile are these things? lol

  4. I spent $250 on it. And i clean it every once and a while. I just have the infamous mouth piece problem. I didnt 'abuse' it lol. Jw if anyone has ever sent a PAX in with a mouth piece problem and got a replacement. Whats the point of a warranty?

  5. They will probably send you a new PAX.
Contact Jeremy at Ploom and he will email you a pre paid stamp to send it back.
you need to send the PAX and the charger in.
I just sent one of mie back to Ploom because it would heat up purple, flash blue 3 times and shut off.
They are excellent with customer service and warranties.
I did not even have the receipt for mine and the day he received it he sent me a brand new one.
It takes about a week. They are quick
If you want his direct number, message me.

One thing I do to mine every 2 weeks (other than ALWAYS charge it mouthpiece up with the charger on top, gravity keeps the mouthpiece clean) that I do is get a bristled pipe cleaner.
    Bend it in half.
moisten it in ISO and push the pipe cleaner around the outside of the tube and push the spring down to clean any residue.

  6. Contact the place you bought it from (if bought from a authrized vendor) or contact PAX themself. They have always been great with fixing and correcting issues. Great customer service!

  7. call the number, ask for jeremy, tell him dan told you to call him about the pax

  8. I had a mouthpiece issue, called Ploom, they paid to have it sent to them, and had it back to me working fine in 8 days. Easy as hell. Charge with the charger on top, and get the mouthpiece lube and you'll be fine if you keep it clean.
