I've been fascinated with the universe since I was just a little kid. So in your opinion, what are the most mysterious and wondrous phenomenon in the cosmos? I think quasars are up there for me. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
black holes because there is much possibility and mystery as to what they do... maybe the key to interstellar travel or the birthplaces of new universes
Well I want to how the cosmos and everything in the cosmos was made. But that is a never ending question. Sent from my iPod touch using Grasscity Forum
Quasars are pretty awesome and black holes have some much mystery. Hard to decide entire space is awesome and so beautiful.
Black holes obviously, hell if I had the opportunity, I'd send myself into one. Probably would kill me, but it beats most ways of dying here on Earth. Asides from that, the likelihood of life on other planets fascinates me endlessly. I'm always imagining about what types of alien civilizations there might be, and just how advanced and 'magical' their technology may be. A race like us, but just a few hundred, or thousand years more developed would probably use such tech that we could not comprehend at the stage where are right now. Of course it took us millions of years for us to get where we are, but we've grown at a seemingly exponential rate during the last hundred years alone.
I just wonder how many other civilization are alive right now, and how many more might have been at one point. There is just so much potential in this one photo: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hubble_Extreme_Deep_Field_(full_resolution).png (I love all the different colors and shapes and sizes as well)
