Nail Head Is Black.

    Is my nail still good? 3 people dab off this almost daily.

    Really? Well that's good to hear. It just looks black so I wasn't sure. I do feel like the heat retention isn't there anymore so idk. Any idea why it's so dark?

    Still holds heat for good amount of time.

    Repeated heating over and over again will do that to a nail from my experience. I would say if it starts to pit or has trouble holding heat to the point that you are losing oil then get a new one

    And I just got a new flux nail for my little rig and it blew me away how long a new nail head holds heat compared to a couple months old

    Yeah that looks fine man, doesnt look like your oil is leaving much residue.

    Yea man if it's true Ti then it's just getting seasoned like a new cast iron pan get after many uses over time. Mine is looking like that and it holds the head a not better but I don't have a domeless
